I am currently working on new website for a client. They have a few other websites, mainly in the SaaS niche, that are quite good - some are DR60+ and have 300k+ monthly traffic.
The new website is about corporate merch, so not that much in common thematically.
I'd like to use those authoritatie sites as a link resource for the new website and I'd like to get some advice for it.
1. Homepage/sidebar links seem to pass more juice than posts. Should we just link from the sidebar under " check out our other products" or something? I read here in the forum, that homepage links are not that good if the source is not thematically connected.
2. If blog posts are a better option, is it worth researching for a connection with the product and write an article with links in that way? For example if they are connected to the same problem, or like "ways to help your team" and then put the software + merch in there or something like that?
3. Should we pace the links in some way, or is it okay to do them in 1 day. We are talking about 4-5 links here, not dozens or hundreds.
Thanks in advance!
