For my AI IG account. Do I reset my phone and use a different Google Store account? Or is this overkill?

I think people underestimate how much Meta tracks environment consistency now. A factory reset alone won’t magically make an account “clean” if the overall behavior still looks synthetic.
Personally I’d focus more on:
clean device habits, stable IP/location, slow warmup, and avoiding aggressive automation early on. Most accounts burn because people rush the growth phase.
 
Factory reset alone isn't enough — Meta reads the GSF ID and Widevine device ID which survive a normal reset. You need either: a fresh device (cheapest path), or an Android with bootloader unlock to flash a stock image and randomize the device IDs, or run via emulator with each instance having its own randomized device profile. New Google account is mandatory regardless. For one-off testing the factory reset + new Google works maybe 50% of the time, for production reliability it's a fresh-device-per-account or nothing.

However, resetting everything is overkill unless the device has already been flagged. Instead, a more effective and safer strategy is to nurture the account gradually to build natural trust with Instagram.
 
It is not special to register ai page with Instagram but it is advise to link contact email to generate fast growth with the system.
Ai pages get difficult to grow lately without using contact email to register profiles.
 
Thank you everyone. I never used the phone with IG. I'll just try with a new IG account and grow slow.

Yeah an App cloner is the most effective tool in order to reset your identity. +1 to this.
 
No need to reset phone, just use fresh IG install + new email/account, reset is overkill unless you’re already flagged.
 
You do not need to do all that. If you want a totally clean start, just delete the Instagram app, reinstall it, and sign up with a brand new email. Wiping the phone is way too much work.
 
Yes, I usually reset everything for a new IG account — new device setup, fresh IP, cookies, and browser profile to keep it clean and reduce risk.
