How to avoid a Reddit ban?

I understand that this question has been asked before, but I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if Reddit is just more aggressive with suspensions. I have created a few accounts, and each one got banned shortly. The only thing I did after creating the account was leave a few comments on different threads. Used proxies too.
I believe the issue may be that I have used a new email. But it can't be the only reason, right? And no, I didn't promote anything.

Just act human bro that's the secret strategy dont act like a bot how these gurus suggest "exactly 10 minutes per day scrolling if u go more than 10minutes you are banned" try to use it as a real platform and act human. If you use proxies look for a good one, before logging into one account try to farm some cookies on the browser.

To avoid a Reddit ban, follow each subreddit’s rules, avoid spammy self-promotion, build karma naturally, and participate like a real community member. Most bans happen when accounts post too many links, repeat content, manipulate votes, or behave like marketers instead of genuine users. On Reddit, authentic engagement matters much more than aggressive promotion.
 
A real person wastes time, gets distracted, lurks randomly, and Reddit weirdly expects that pattern

Hmm, I think I did everything you suggested. Posted between 2 and 4 replies before getting a ban. None of the replies had any links or anything remotely close to any promotion. Maybe I'll have to learn how to write more authentically.
 
Reddit mostly bans accounts that look spammy or automated. if a new account starts posting links everywhere, commenting too fast or joining too many subreddits at once, it gets flagged quickly. better way is to use the account normally first, comment on posts, get some karma and slowly become active before promoting anything.
 
Reddit detection system is a lot tougher now. Fresh accounts combined with proxies, new emails or jumping straight into commenting can easily look suspicious to their filters, even without any promotion involved.

dude i have the same situation rn, i have several accs acting as human, got achievements but when i left a comment no link or promotion still got a ban

That's the thing, one of the accounts, I believe, got banned after only 2 replies(written by hand), without any links in different subs. How slow do I need to be?

I guess we need to come to terms that the rules are much stricter now

it's getting more and more complicated smh
 
New accounts seem to get flagged much faster now. I’ve had better luck letting them age a bit and participating in a few communities naturally before posting regularly. Even harmless comments can trip filters if the account footprint looks unusual.
