when you accept credit card, how many percentage of your customers pay by crypto. please tell your niche too.

Having managed clients from a variety of industries through my agency, I’ve been dealing with crypto payments for the last 6 years. Initially, it was mostly Web3/crypto-related projects and founders using crypto for payments.

But over the last couple of years, especially with the growth of stablecoins, I’ve noticed much broader adoption. Now clients from many different types of businesses are comfortable paying with crypto if it’s offered as an option.

I don’t have clients or receive payments, but across online freelancers/agencies, crypto payments are still a minority compared to cards and bank transfers.

The percentage really depends on the creator's audience and location - some of our users see 30–50% of their payments come in via crypto, especially those with international clients. Others use crypto primarily for payouts rather than incoming payments.

In digital services/marketing niches crypto payments seem much more common than in regular ecom. Probably around 20-40% from what I’ve seen depending on audience

Moins de 10 %, secteur des produits numériques. Les processeurs exigent une vérification d'identité (KYC) de la part des clients, ce qui nuit à la conversion.

online entertainment:
~10% crypto native
~ 10% crypto onramp (technically crypto payments, but customers don't move crypto themself so don't need to understand the crypto side)
~ 10% alternative payments
~ 70% cards

Yeah stablecoins are the best for electronic payments because they are tied to the dollar or the euro, therefore you get the exact amount your products/services are worth. Also you can keep them in wallets without having to worry how the market goes, whereas with traditional crypto you have regular up and down swings.

Most customers pay using cryptocurrency; very few pay by credit card accounting for only 3% to 5% of my transactions.

I'd estimate around 25% in the digital marketing space. Credit cards are still the dominant payment method, but crypto usage has definitely increased over the past few years, especially among international customers.
Curious to hear from people in hosting, SEO, and software niches. Are you seeing higher percentages?
