Hi guys,

Thanks for taking time to read this post.

I will work with a new client that sells weight loss pills and anti-knee pain pills.

Everything’s legit and i’m not trying to do shady things.

I’m asking for your expertise on how to run facebook ads for this client.

As of 2025 facebook has removed bottom of the funnel events like purchases and add to cart for health and wellness categories.

Our current working method is Ad > quiz > vsl > opt in > call from our call center.

I really would appreciate your help on how to run ads for these types of products without any issues.

If we get banned the result will be bad because we rely fully 100% online on sales.

To run effective and safe Facebook ads for weight loss and knee pain products in 2025, you should:

Avoid excessive medical claims

Don't use words like "cure", "lose 10kg in 1 week", etc.

Use neutral language: "Support", "feel lighter", "feel the change".

Use lifestyle-oriented content

Ads should talk about "journey stories" or "feelings after trying".

Lead to an intermediate quiz/landing page, avoid leading directly to a sales page.

Choose a reasonable campaign objective

Use Engagement, Traffic, or Leads (not Conversion).

Don't use "before/after" images or focus on the human body

Instead, use happy images, with positive life contexts, without zooming in on the body.

Build credibility

Useful content on your Facebook page, real comments, no new accounts.

Keep a close eye on Meta Ads Library & Account Quality

Check your ads regularly and follow Meta's early warnings.

The current approach (Ad → Quiz → VSL → Opt-in → Call) is reasonable if done transparently. Make sure your quiz and VSL do not contain exaggerated information.

If needed, I can help you write a suitable ad copy.

You can use AI to generate and then optimize the content yourself

Running ads for sensitive products is not easy, especially when it requires strict compliance and no mention of offending keywords. Experience shows that it is necessary to focus on clever content, avoid direct commitments, do not promise too much, and ensure that the funnel lead form or quiz is well optimized to increase conversion rates. If you are not careful, it is easy to get flagged or blocked. If anyone has better tips, please share!

Running ads for sensitive products is extremely difficult, as you have to be very strict and avoid any offensive language.
At the same time, make sure your funnel form or quiz is optimized to increase conversion rates. If you are not careful, your account can easily be flagged or blocked.

Hey! You're on the right track with quiz > VSL > opt-in > call flow - that’s one of the safest funnels for health offers in 2025

Hey! You're on the right track with quiz > VSL > opt-in > call. For Facebook, stay compliant by avoiding direct health claims in your ad copy or creatives. Focus on lifestyle, emotional benefits, or pain points (e.g., “struggling with daily discomfort?”). Use compliant language and always send traffic to a quiz-style presell page to warm up leads. Also, consider warming up a clean BM and domain, and run ads under a “wellness lifestyle” angle. Retarget opt-ins with value content instead of hard pitches. Stay safe and scale slow.

I usually focus mainly on content
but, Meta's algorithm is change, i cant keep 1 form for win content
what should i do?

Have you tried posting in specific groups. Instrad of running pure ads, try using capitivating content in groups for knee pain for instance
