Ive purchased a motherboard farm, 10 devices total with sim slot. I am curious to which sims are the best for a phone farm for social media automation, US based. Mother and child method through threads, instagram, X, ect. I will only need unlimited data and possibly 100 texts or something small at the moment but i would be fine with just unlimited data. Any help is appreciated

Cheers

5G sim cards and data will looks more legit for mother/child method. Approach your local ISP and negotiate for 10 or more connections for better price.

Nice setup! For US-based phone farms, a lot of people go with plans from Visible (by Verizon), Tello, or Mint Mobile, especially for unlimited data. Just make sure the provider allows hotspot or automation use, since some throttle or flag heavy activity. Also, rotating or mixing carriers can help avoid bans.

Sounds like you're off to a solid start mate.

Appreciate the insight. Ill take a look at those providers. I haven't set up a sim phone in like 10 years now, do they ask for identity and information when activating sim? I could do more research to find that out but I figured Id ask while you're here.10 sims under 1 name has to add some type of questionability to it no? Also thinking scalability for when or if i expand to more devices.

+1 on the 5g sim cards

Unlimited plans are the way to go. Also make sure to double check whether the provider doesn't dramatically lower the Mbps after a certain threshold

why not buy 5g ips instead
Id rather do it in house and make sure everything is done to my standard, but then again I have considered out sourcing ips and proxies so all accounts don't look like they are in the same location. Still a bit uneducated on what networking route to take, but I know a a lot of people are saying sim in each phone with airplane mode on and off between accounts is what ive seen people talk about being the best way to keep bans down so I went with that firstly. Now, scaling to 100s and 1000s of accounts I worry about the location factor of just using sim in phone since the phones will be connecting to the same tower, but Questions are coming as I further my journey. ill have a post sometime next week with some more questions and ideas to bounce off the community. If I ever out source ill keep your services in mind.

Cheers

You can use video game method: join some MMOs, get into clans with kids from the US and offer to Paypal them in exchange for some SIMs. I’ve seen this suggested here in the forums and I also tried it a few years ago.

Not a bad idea at all lmao

I can imagine this: “hello there my fellow youngsters! Would anyone be willing to sell a SIM card? I need them badly or I won’t eat dinner tonight. Pls help.”

Lmao

When you are referring to Simcards, they all should be similar. The primary thing that would be different is the IP, depending on the location you choose.

By "location I choose" does that mean if say the farm is based in Chicago and I buy sims from different states the IPs will differentiate from each other even if they are all actively working in the same place?

If you're not physically in the US and just slotting the SIM remotely, stay away from consumer plans on the big three—Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile. They'll throttle or kill the line fast once they detect prolonged non-residential tower access.

Two paths that actually hold up in testing: 1) **Tello** (rides T-Mobile, eSIM-ready, balance never expires, easy bulk management via web); 2) **US Mobile** (lets you toggle roaming manually to prevent tower hopping). Both offer data-only at half the cost or less.

One more thing: if you're running cloud devices with SIM slots, disable "automatic network selection" and lock to a specific frequency band. SIMs don't die from data exhaustion—they get flagged as "non-standard usage devices."

I deal with US eSIMs + physical sims for stuff like this.

Can usually help with:

  • unlimited data
  • data + small sms plans
  • instant eSIM delivery
  • physical sim shipping
  • Verizon / T-Mobile lines depending on what you need
A lot of people running farms are using similar setups now.

Shoot me your WhatsApp if you want and I can probably point you toward the cheapest/best option for your 10-device setup.
