Is anyone else getting this Meta ads error even on completely fresh assets?

Error:
"Couldn't Edit Your Ads: Edits to your ads couldn't be saved for the following reason: Invalid usage of ForceRunStatus"

This is happening to me on:

  • New ad accounts
  • Fresh campaigns
  • Brand new ads
  • Different browsers/devices
So I don't think it's related to old drafts or duplicated campaigns.

Sometimes the ad publishes normally, but the moment I try editing anything, Meta throws this error.

Could this be:

  • A Meta backend bug?
  • Account quality/trust issue?
  • Problem with Business Manager?
  • API/Advantage+ related?
Would appreciate if anyone found the real cause or a stable workaround.

This error is currently occurring frequently on new ad accounts. To edit it, you need highest-level access to that ad account or Business Manager. If you still can't edit it, you'll need to create a completely new ad campaign. Because this is a system error, it may take several days.

while i am at in, i would like to ask if there r a way to delete old camps. i can edit thhe campagn but i can not delete old ones.
