it's safer to run display ads but this is not with display ads that you will have the best results. Shopping ads yes, best type of ads, but like you said it's harder. you just need to pass GMC + cloaking. not impossible, but you need some skills.

Yeah, Google shopping has become much stricter lately, especially with GMC policies. A lot of people are focusing more on organic traffic, Seo, social media, or influencer style content instead of relying fully on ads. Diversifying traffic sources seems safer long term.

It's not that Google doesn't have the answer — popular cars (Toyota/Honda) always have readily available parts and fewer problems, while GMC is more of a monologue, more expensive, and more complex.
