Hey BHW,

I run a digital marketing agency and currently earning $2K/month. I've been exploring AI-generated video content on YouTube as a potential new income stream.

My questions:

  1. Is anyone here making money on YouTube with AI videos? How much realistically?
  2. What niches work best for AI video content?
  3. What AI tools are you using for video creation, voiceover, and editing?
  4. Does YouTube demonetize or limit AI-generated content?
  5. Can this be scaled — like running multiple channels?
  6. Since I run an agency, could I offer this as a service to clients too?
I already have skills in digital marketing and content strategy, so I feel like this could be a good fit. Just want to hear from people who are actually doing it.

Any advice, experiences, or warnings welcome.

Thanks!

Yeah people are doing it but AI channels are getting crowded so quality matters more than automation now. Faceless content still works best in evergreen niches like finance history and tutorials.

Biggest issue is most channels fail because they spam low effort videos not because AI doesnt work.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I should try, I guess.

I’ve actually been looking into this space for a while now because AI + YouTube + digital marketing feels like a huge opportunity if done properly. I’ve been researching different resources, workflows, and case studies recently, and I’m planning to start testing a few ideas myself over the next couple of weeks.

One thing that’s becoming clear is that AI helps massively with speed and scaling, but channels still need good positioning, consistency, distribution, and content people genuinely want to watch.

That’s a smart move, AI video content is definitely gaining traction lately but monetization depends more on watch time and engagement than on whether it’s AI‑generated.

YouTube doesn’t ban AI videos, but originality and transparency matter. I think you can safely start with one niche, refine your workflow, then scale. Offering it as a service could be a great add‑on for your agency too.

The most important thing is that you focus on quality and consistency first, that’s what really pays off.

I was thinking about it too, wondering what percentage of all the AI-generated content actually gets the views.

Yes, people are making money with AI YouTube channels, but it’s not “easy passive income.” The winners focus on good niches, strong storytelling, and consistency — AI just speeds up production. Finance, faceless tutorials, motivation, history, and tech channels work well. Most use https://chatgpt.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com for scripts, https://elevenlabs.io?utm_source=chatgpt.com for voiceovers, and https://www.capcut.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com / https://runwayml.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com for editing. YouTube allows AI content, but low-effort spam gets demonetized fast. Since you already run an agency, offering AI content creation for clients could be a solid extra service.

Frm what my clients have experiences, the income is usually between 500 and 2500 bucks. Though, it's unstable and varies frm month to month. The main niches are finance, educational courses and kids content. As for scaling - that't exactly how people do it. They create several channels and not all of them get monitized (the latest monetization rejection was for repetitive content). As for the tools they use, they are CapCat but mostly DaVinci. They continue working only with the channels that survive. And regarding your last question - yes, I've seen agencies that offer turnkey creation of these kind of channels.

people are making real money with AI-assisted YouTube channels. But the reality is less “push button passive income” and more “media business with leverage.” The biggest advantage of AI is speed, cost reduction, and the ability to test ideas fast.
