€200k+ Spent, 2,028 FTDs on Meta for a Casino Brand (Bulgaria + Bosnia Case Study)
Most people in this niche talk about clicks, CTR, or cheap registrations.
That’s not the metric that matters.
For this client, the goal was simple from day one:
generate real first-time depositors (FTDs), not just traffic.
Over
10+ months, we launched and scaled Meta campaigns for the same casino brand across
Bulgaria and
Bosnia, handling the full stack internally:
- strategy
- creatives
- media buying
- tracking
- account infrastructure
- daily optimization
- scaling
Results:
- Total Spend: €200,176
- Total FTDs: 2,028
- Blended CPA per FTD: €98.71
- Campaign duration: 10+ months
- Status: Still active
The Situation
This was not an account we inherited after someone else had already proven the funnel.
The client had
not run Meta ads before.
We were the
first team to launch and scale campaigns for them in these geos.
So this wasn’t about “taking over a winning setup.”
It was about building the acquisition system from scratch and making it work.
What We Managed
We handled the full stack:
- Campaign strategy
- Creative production and testing
- Media buying
- Tracking setup
- Account infrastructure
- Daily optimization
- Scaling
Tracking stack used:
Meta was optimized around a
Purchase event mapped specifically to FTD, so the campaigns were trained toward actual depositor acquisition rather than weaker top-of-funnel events.
Campaign Structure
At a high level, the setup was:
- 3 ad accounts
- CBO
- Broad targeting
- All placements
- Limited retargeting
- Direct-to-offer web funnel
Creatives and copy were
localized per geo and language, with
separate offers for each market.
We didn’t treat Bulgaria and Bosnia like the same audience and force one generic framework across both.
Creative Approach
The strongest-performing angles were mainly:
- Lifestyle-led creatives
- Bonus-driven messaging
To keep performance stable and avoid burnout, we ran aggressive creative testing.
Over the life of the campaigns, we
tested and launched 1,000+ creatives per geo.
That gave us enough volume to keep refreshing winners, maintain delivery, and scale without depending on a tiny handful of ads.
Scale Progression
We started conservatively at around
€50/day.
As data came in and winning combinations became clear, spend was ramped steadily.
At peak, campaigns scaled to around
€1,000/day, before later settling closer to
€500/day.
This was not a short-term spike.
The campaigns have been running for
10+ months and are
still active.
Results by Geo
Bulgaria
- Spend: €147,386
- FTDs: 1,068

Bosnia
- Spend: €52,790
- FTDs: 960

- Total FTDs: 2,028
- Blended CPA per FTD: €98.71
- Approx. Total Registrations: 23.3k
Performance varied by geo, with Bosnia coming in at a lower FTD CPA than Bulgaria, but both markets contributed to a strong overall result.
Why This Matters
A lot of people can generate clicks.
Some can generate registrations.
Far fewer can build and run a Meta acquisition system focused on
actual FTD volume over a long period of time while handling the operational side needed to keep campaigns live and scalable.
That’s the main point of this case study.
Not cheap traffic.
Not vanity metrics.
Not a lucky 2-week run.
A full-stack Meta system that generated
2,028 FTDs across
Bulgaria and Bosnia over
10+ months.
