Bought TikTok coins by accident through the TikTok website using Apple Pay with my BMO card. I contacted TikTok support right away and haven’t used any of the coins.
Just wondering if anyone here has gone through this before:
How long did TikTok take to reply?
Did they actually refund you?
Did you need to dispute it through your bank?

TikTok's support line takes a long time to respond. The refund to your card also takes a long time depending on your bank. However, TikTok does refund coins purchased by mistake. They will refund you, so keep an eye on the process.

Hey, TikTok’s has their own policy which allows for unused coins bought on the web to be refunded. This is only offered in specific regions so check this and they also state refunds can take up to 7 business days after approval.

Once you make a request for a refund, you should get your coins back in 3 business days. But they can take up to a week or slighlty longeer. Generally, you will get your funds back eventually

TikTok support can be very inconsistent with coin refunds especially when the purchase was made through the TikTok website instead of the App Store.

anyone else having issues with tiktok support taking forever? i'm trying to get an ad account approved and it's been like a week. wondering if the coin refund process is similar.
