Actually i pay to agency for the SEO of my website and for 1-2 days my website ranks on first page but after 1-2 days now its ranking on 3rd page, is there any specific reason for that ? usually my assistant handle this part but unfortunately he is on holidays so i manage by self, i have interest in this field but i don't face such situation before, usually i pay to agency and my website stays on first page but this is first website on which i face this, i don't know the reason, is this something you faced before ?

I’ve seen this happen many times, especially after fresh SEO work or new backlinks/content updates.
Sometimes Google gives a temporary visibility boost to measure engagement and relevance signals before readjusting rankings.
If the page later drops, it usually means authority, competition, or user signals still need strengthening.
 
Your agency is doing something wrong, can't know what for sure, but something is not done as it should be done
 
1-2 days are far not enough. You should definitely focus on continuous overall improvement and allow bigger time window before drawing conclusion what works and what not.

Yes, this happens quite often, especially with newer sites, aggressive SEO campaigns, or recently optimized pages. A temporary jump to page 1 followed by a drop to page 2–3 is usually a sign that Google is “testing” the page rather than permanently ranking it.
 
Based on the current results, it seems there may be gaps in your agency’s execution process. Certain tasks may not be performed according to expected professional standards.

Sounds like a temporary ranking jump, not stable rankings yet. Google often tests new pages/sites on page 1, then re-evaluates based on engagement, authority, and backlinks. If it dropped to page 3 quickly, the site probably lacks enough trust/signals to hold the spot consistently.

Sounds like a temporary ranking fluctuation or Google testing positions especially if it’s a newer project or recent SEO work was done.... I’ve seen cases where sites jump to page 1 briefly and then settle lower once google recalculates relevance links or user signals... worth checking recent backlinks content changes and competitor movement too....
