How can I remove a Google review (obviously fake)?

Here's my problem... I work with a business that has like 5 negative reviews that are 100% fake. I know anyone can say "they're fake"....

But:

1. One review says "he cut my weiner off".

2. Worst $50 ever spent (we're a doctors office, we don't charge $50 for anything).

3. One included a photo of a cartoon charachter. - ok ?

4. One person only has one review in the united states, but all the other reviews in their history are in India, etc.

5. One review said "they hungup, said they'd call the police for trying to make a reservation" -- what?

So keep in mind, I've done a basic dispute... Then I did the appeal process. All were declined. These are 100% fake ass reviews, that shouldn't be on the page. I assume the algorithm is making these decisions. Due to the low number of reviews, the 5 reviews hold us back quite a bit and seriously harms the rating.

Any idea on how to get these accounts banned, or reviews removed? Again, they're 100% spammy fake reviews that have no relevance to what we're doing.

some question(s) are very delicate to answer and anybody who intend to provide answer should do so in a diplomatic ways so as not to violate the rules & regulation of the other website in question

Years back, i got negative trust on popular bitcoin forum with claim that i was offering guideline(s) on how to defraud paypal.

I suggest you burying the negative rating with positive ratings.

Just focus on offering good services or products to your client(s) in return they might leave position feedback on behalf of you company.

Multiple positive feedback(s) from different clients can help bury one or more negative feedback(s)

I will advice to respond nicely to even these bad reviews and try to make the good reviews instead and improve customers experience so it will get buried with good reviews. You should also report that bad review but the results can vary some you will can remove while other is not possible..... Just focus on geting good reviews instead and offering quality services
 
It's a big problem on Google nowadays. I had the exact same issue with one of my businesses. It's not always easy to get them removed. You need to have a very old GMB for them to take into account your appeal, or else they just don't care

Most importantly at this point consider a legal demand letter. Reviews like 'he cut my weiner off' and the cartoon photo are clear policy violations and defamatory. A lawyer's letter to Google often triggers a manual human review which the algorithm missed.
5 fake reviews hurting a doctors office is serious enough to justify that step. You have a very strong case here.

you need to find someone with 2-3 GMB lvl 7 accounts who will report them.this should be enough to take them down
if you already made the dispute and lost
there are only two otpions left.
1.the quick greyhat one with the high lvl GMB accounts or
2.using a lawyer which is more time consuming and also more expensive
 
If reporting and appeals did not work, try flagging them again from different business accounts and document why there are fake. You can also contact Google Business Profile support directly through their help form. In the meantime, getting more real positive reviews can help dilute the impact.
 
I will recommend to Flag the fake review in Google Business Profile and provide evidence to support it.
Meanwhile, respond professionally to show credibility and encourage authentic positive reviews.
 
That's frustrating. If normal reports were denied, I'd try contacting Google Business Profile support directly with clear evidence for each review. Also keep collecting genuine reviews, since more real feedback can reduce the impact over time.
 
I'm sorry this is happening to you, it's one of the most frustrating aspects of local marketing, the good news is that you have several options to try and get rid of it, although it requires patience, google takes fake reviews very seriously and now has processes in place to review them more effectively.

The first thing you need to do is go to your google business profile dashboard, find the review, click on the three dots next to it, and select Report review, choose the most appropriate option, such as conflict of interest or spam, this will trigger a basic alert so google can review it.

If the automated system doesn't remove it, don't give up, you can now use a dedicated appeals portal where you attach evidence, this includes screenshots of the review, proof that the person has never been your customer such as records from your sales system, and if you notice that the account is new or that several attacks came at once, mention it, appeals with details are much more effective than a simple complaint, while google processes the case, the best thing you can do is respond calmly and objectively, say something neutral, like you regret not being able to verify that reviewer as a real customer and that the review has already been reported for violating policies, those who read that will see that you're professional and that it's a case of harassment, not actual bad service.
 
Unfortunately, you can't remove those; just try to overshadow them with positive reviews

That sounds incredibly frustrating. Based on what you described, those reviews clearly look spammy and unrelated to your actual services. Since the normal dispute process already failed, your best option is usually a more detailed escalation with specific policy violations and evidence for each review.

In the meantime, I’d recommend posting calm professional replies publicly so potential customers can immediately tell the reviews aren’t credible. Even if removal takes time, that helps protect trust and reputation.

you can only try to mask them with positive reviews or fake reports to Google.
 
i usually just report the fake reviews and provide correct information and I succeed in most cases
