why my blog posts are getting indexed but not ranking in google

hey,
i’ve been working on a new blog and all my posts are getting indexed but none of them are actually showing up in search results for the keywords i’m targeting
content is original and i’m trying to keep it clean white hat seo, basic on-page done properly.
still not seeing any movement in rankings even after weeks, not sure if this is just normal for new sites or if i’m missing something important in the process

has anyone faced this recently and found a reason behind it

Your blog posts may be indexed but not ranking due to low authority, high competition, or poor SEO. Improve quality, optimize keywords, build backlinks, and enhance user engagement. Also, fix technical issues like site speed and mobile usability to boost rankings and visibility on Google.
 
I think it's normal and not something unusual. Indexing means Google knows that page exists but still need enough trust for ranking the blog or site etc.
 
Because indexing just means Google found your page ranking only happens when your content is better than existing results in relevance, quality, authority, and backlinks.
 
Even if pages are indexed, Google may take time to trust a new domain and properly test rankings. I’ve seen this happen when competition is high, topical authority is low, or the content does not fully match search intent. Building internal links, getting a few quality backlinks, and consistently posting helpful content usually helps over time.
 
That’s pretty common with newer sites honestly. Indexing just means Google found the page, not that it trusts it enough to rank yet.
 
Being indexed doesn’t mean your page will rank, it just means Google has found it. Usually the issue is either weak content or higher competition, so you need to improve the content quality, add some internal links, and give it time because copied or low-effort pages rarely hold rankings.
 
This is normal for new sites your pages are indexed, but they are not ranking yet because Google still doesn’t see enough authority, backlinks, or strong relevance compared to competitors.
