How much traffic do you need before ads actually become worth it?

Well , possible to monetize less traffic ,for example from 10k, but income will not be high, so better to work on traffic first ,so that it will be at least 100k page views per month and you can use ads to make good money . You can try ad network such as : AdMaven, Adsterra ,Monetag .

It's honestly more about the quality of your traffic and your conversion rate than just raw volume before ads become worth it. You could totally start with smaller, super-targeted campaigns that convert way better than a huge audience who just isn't interested

It really depends on the ad platform and your niche, but you'll probably need a decent amount of traffic to even start making enough to cover the ad spend, like, maybe thousands of views a month to see some real returns. So, do your research on the platform you are using, and see how much the average payment per 1000 views is

If you want to make serious money I suggest going for at least 70k traffic. Google adsense pays 0.2$ at least, some niches can go to 2.4$ per 1k views so monetizing 70k traffic would be around 14k$ at least.
