No, it makes absolutely no difference. However, the camera quality on an iPhone is usually better than Android's, so that could play a factor.

Of course you can work with both. But every platform understands that 99% of their bots today come from Android. Maybe you've heard that celebrities on Instagram have lost millions of followers this week because of Instagram starting a war against bots. Samsung's video quality is still better than yours, but the iPhone is better at smoothing and producing more vibrant colors for videos.

device doesnt matters that much directly, may it be android or iphone both works the same. What matters is account behaviour and how u use it,

The iPhone advantage is real but it's not about camera quality — it's device metadata. TikTok and IG both read EXIF data and device model from uploads, and iOS device profiles historically correlated with higher-value creator demographics, which influenced early distribution scoring. The gap has narrowed a lot as Android flagships improved. What still matters more: if you're uploading via desktop or any tool that strips/modifies the upload path metadata, TT detects it as non-native capture and treats it differently than direct iOS/Android camera posting. Shoot and post natively regardless of which platform you use.

I have had videos unrecommended for being "low quality." TikTok defintely cares about the video quality. Lighting, etc. They will absolutely donmgrade your content if it's shot on a low quality, shaky camera. iPhones just have better camera quality overall

That's their unorignal content algorithm, they're extremely agressive about things like that
