Have anyone been able to fix this kind of problem? I can't do this on desktop, Facebook will always ask me to login on Mobile and verify.

It seems that you entered the wrong phone number that is registered with your Facebook account.

Try selecting a different country and a different phone number; the problem might be with the country.

Hello, I fiiiiinally figured it out after weeks of being stuck ... The solution is you have to verify your account using a US phone number. Go to smspool website, purchase a "Quick order" for a Facebook US number. Do this and thank me .

I had 2 pages with this issue, 1 worked with using a US phone number while this very one didn't work...

The original creator of the page which is the first admin must be present in the page for it to work that what I found out

As far as I know, you just need to be the administrator of the Page with the highest privileges; you don't necessarily have to be the creator of the Page.

sometimes, I had the same problem. I often use new other page, because we can't get the code even filling phone number correctly.

So you've fixed this error, right?

Sometimes I get it too, but I just change my login IP address.

Not necessary... I'm based in Nigeria, and all I did was just purchase a temporary virtual number for Facebook verification on smspool.net and it worked. I got my verification code on the platform and bypassed the verification "something went wrong" problem.

I've encountered the exact same problem... I haven't been able to post anything for a week. I have two SIM cards from different countries + I enabled two-factor authentication just in case. I've found many other posts on this topic on other forums and websites since December, and the problem hasn't been resolved. SMS messages aren't sent anywhere except to USA numbers (I decided to randomly enter phone numbers from different countries - Europe, Africa, Asia, and NOTHING). This is absolutely terrible. Is there another way to solve this? And who entered the temporary USA phone number? Was it saved somewhere in your profile? Judging by Facebook's bugs, I'm afraid this number will be saved somewhere and I'll lose access to my account.

Try with a different phone number and if that doesn't work contact Meta's support.

You can try to change your IP, or use a different device to log in again. maybe somtimes this error will be gone away.

I tried changing my IP address, waiting a week without posting anything, enabling two-factor authentication, and adding an additional phone number from another country. But nothing works. I keep getting the same error. I rarely posted on my own page, but I did post in groups once a month where the admins always approved my posts. I didn't spam. But now I can't post anything at all. Not on my wall, not in groups.

I've sent bug reports several times, found some Facebook support emails, and described the problems. It's all just useless. I'm really angry. How can they allow such bugs when millions of people use this social network?

Please double-check your phone number and Gmail address.
