Lately I’ve seen a lot of SMM panel owners complaining more about payment holds than actual marketing problems.

Crypto is easier in some ways, but many users still trust cards and wallets more. Traditional gateways work fine until volume jumps and suddenly reviews start happening.

SMM panel owners and payment gateways feels like a constant balancing game now.

What’s been the safest option for you lately?

Payment gatways has always been a problem for smm panel because you are accepting payments for banned products. What else do you expect.
I hate crypto so does everyone else. I hate it because of tax and some banks can literally close your creditcard if you dare to use it buy crypto. I have enough problems already. Unless I have no other option I don't use crypto. Don't get me started on scams, bait and switch.
Now you know situation of your customer.

If (Really) that you have some competitors and if they see that you use stripe/paypal for some blackhat offers - they do comply to paypal/stripe and they block your account with your money. Crypto dont gives a shit about such a problem. Also, you can try give your customers links to trusted exchanges where they can buy crypto.

no “safe” forever. once volume spikes, reviews hit. pattern same across gateways. what works now is split flow. don’t run everything through one processor. keep backup ready, rotate traffic, keep dispute rate low. mix crypto + cards so one side doesn’t choke whole business

As you know that SMM is a high risk industry, for that you need to look for a high risk payment gateways
Or use crypto gateway (but crypto is not very reliable)
and clocking (It is a method where you click to purchase something and it redirects to another website)

Spread your processing across multiple high-risk offshore merchant accounts instead of relying on one main gateway. As soon as a single processor sees a sudden volume spike in this niche, they will almost always trigger a hold.
