From what I know the parrot itself is real, but I’m not sure if some videos are “AI assisted” behind the scenes. Probably one of a few things honestly. They could be using AI tools that dont embed detectable metadata, so Meta’s automatic detection doesnt trigger properly. Meta already said before that alot of their labeling system depends on metadata/watermarks being present in the file. Another possibility is the videos are only partially AI generated. Some pages use AI visuals mixed with human editing, stock clips, CapCut effects, voiceovers, etc. Once videos get re-exported a few times, alot of the AI fingerprints disappear anyway.
And honestly Meta’s detection is just inconsistent right now. You can find obvious AI videos with no label, then random real photos getting flagged for no reason lol. The bigger thing is probably retention. Facebook seems to push alot of these “AI looking” videos if people keep watching and commenting. I’ve seen tons of fake podcast clips, fake street interviews, weird animal videos and AI storytelling pages getting millions of views lately.
