Reddit mobile proxy or residential?

So I want to know which proxy best , I tried Mobile and residential proxy.

Mobile works good for me but residential not good because speed is too low.

US Mobile proxy is too much for me and for multiple reddit I can't use it at same time .

I prefer proxy - residential or isp but speed should good enough ?

If anyone knows any provider whose proxy is best in speed ?
Please let me know.

Pro redditors also please share subreddit that's karma friendly for zero karma account

For reddit; look into 4G rotating proxy since many agencies send links in specific groups and if you use a 4G proxy; you are then able to send different links using different accounts if you continue to rotate the proxy.
 
Definitely mobile.

My ban rate was nearly 30% with resi proxies.

With mobile, that dropped to < 10%

To be fair, the resi proxies were shitty and from Decodo - i'm sure you could find a better provider, but by the very nature of resi IPs (often installed on Pcs via adware, resold to the tits, shared with so many other users), I'd just avoid resi proxies and stick to mobile.

With mobile, what's key is finding pools that aren't shared or less likely to be used. Think of lesser-known providers, higher prices, different regions - all of those are less likely to be abused.

Don't go with something like Decodo which is super cheap where their USA IPs are sure to be abused to hell and back. (can you tell i love decodo?)
 
Mobile still feels better overall for reddit work because trust level is higher and accounts last longer but yeah cost is the main issue. if speed matters try good isp proxies or premium residential since cheap ones are usually slow and unstable

I know mobile is good , I don't need them to run long term so isp

Any cheap good provider if you can mention them ?
 
Mobile wins for Reddit. You don't need dedicated per-account mobile though — 4G rotating proxies with sticky sessions (15-30 min) work fine for multiple accounts and are way cheaper than dedicated mobile. Just make sure the ASN is an actual carrier range, not residential re-routed through carrier-branded IPs.

Would appreciate if u can share the supplier other than decodo.
I also had a bad experience with decodo. i got flagged. No results. just waste of money. I used thier rotating residential proxies.

share a good provider for Mobile proxies

how to select "ASN is an actual carrier range" ????
 
Check any IP from the proxy pool against ipinfo.io or ip-api.com — look at the org field. Legit carrier ranges show names like 'T-Mobile USA' or 'Verizon Wireless,' not 'Residential' or generic ISP names. If the provider can't tell you which ASN you're on, that's already a red flag.

I managed to run more accounts on 4g/5g IPs. Always prefer mobile proxies. Residential proxies go bad quickly and gets flagged.
 
Residential proxies for Reddit are more secure and stable. Mobile proxies also work on Reddit, but they are usually expensive and unstable.

absolutely not in my experience

ban rate with resi = 30-40%+

ban rate with mobile = 5-10%

tested with over 50 aged accounts. was not a cheap experiment.
 
yeah mobile proxies feel great but the cost kills it at scale, i had say try a good ISP proxy provider-- way better speed than residential and still pretty stable. also russh karma, just warm up accounts naturally over time

For Reddit, I’d focus more on IP quality and setup consistency than just “mobile vs residential”.
Mobile usually has better trust, especially with real carrier ASN and sticky sessions. Residential can work too, but cheap/shared pools are often slow or overused.

So if mobile works well for you, I’d stay with mobile and just optimize the cost/setup instead of switching to low-quality residential.
 
Mobile proxies better than residential for Reddit. If you can't afford it then use your mobile data and rotate IP by turning on / turning off flight mode
 
Honestly, Reddit's spam filters have become insanely strict lately.

When I first started scaling Reddit accounts, I bought a bunch of cheap rotating residentials. Made one post, dropped like 2 comments, and got instant shadowban on every single account.

If mobile is too expensive (I don't like 'em btw), grab Static ISP proxies. You get the speed of a datacenter but with a real ASN. Just remember: one proxy + one dedicated anti-detect profile per account. Never rotate IPs on Reddit, they hate it. Warm them up slowly and you'll be fine. Gl Gl
 
Never ever use residential, especially for socials... man its 2026 :D always use proxy and if possible make your own. (its easy.)
 
If residential feels too slow for you, ISP proxies are probably the best middle ground. They’re usually faster and more stable while still looking more natural than datacenter IPs. For multiple Reddit accounts, speed and consistency matter more than mobile specifically. Just avoid putting too many accounts on one IP.
