Do links from link farms work for iGaming sites?

Hi all!

I'm just starting to learn about link building and still don’t fully understand how to properly choose donor sites for iGaming. I know that ideally, you need relevant websites with traffic and a clean history. However, in practice, I often see competitors getting links from obvious link farms.

So my question is: can these links still work in iGaming, or are they more of a risk and a waste of budget?

What criteria do you use when choosing donor sites?

I’d be happy if you could share your thoughts and practical examples.
