When you cloak on Google ads can you still use a pixel to track your data?

And does cloaking reduce your results or something like this?

You can still use a pixel with cloaking.
Cloaking doesn't reduce anything. If you don't get caught, you're good to go.

Place that type of tracking pixel in the HTML of your actual offer page (money page). That type of a pixel on the safe page will easily trigger a red flag for Google Ads review algorithms.

Yes. I don't know where you've heard cloaking can be bad for your results. But this is not true.

What do you recommend for tracking events like “initiated checkout” and “purchase” if the store also uses cloaking for the payment process?

Pixel only on the money page. If it fires on the safe page, you're asking for a ban. Cloaking won't hurt your CR, but expect a shorter account life

I finally managed to do it myself here's how, for anyone who's interested

I fire 4 TikTok events across the full customer journey, using both browser pixel and server-side (CAPI):

1. ViewContent Browser pixel, when visitor lands on a product page
2. AddToCart Browser pixel, when visitor clicks "Add to cart"
3. InitiateCheckout Server-side (CAPI), when visitor clicks "Checkout" and gets redirected to the safe store
4. Purchase Server-side (CAPI), triggered by the Shopify orders/paid webhook after payment on the money store

All 4 events are linked together via ttclid (TikTok Click ID from the ad URL), the _ttp cookie, hashed email, and IP/UA so TikTok deduplicates browser + server events and attributes everything back to the original ad click.

It’s not true that cloaking reduces your results. I’ve been using cloaking with Adspect and TrafficGuardian And others for some time and I did not faced any pixel or performance issues. pixel is set up correctly on the money page, there should be no problem. Thank you.

Hi! When using cloaking, it can happen that some users are redirected to the white page, which may lead to traffic loss. But it’s important to understand that Google is a serious opponent — with proper setup, you can build high-quality filtering so moderation can’t access your main page while real users still go to it.

Also, to keep campaigns running longer, you need solid assets and should scale budgets gradually.

Have you tried using third-party trackers for tracking?

yap, pixels work with cloaking if implemented correctly, most guys use S2S post back tracking for better stability . cloaking itself doesn't hurt results much but bad redirects ,slow LP's or broken attribution do.

Users who don't get results from information obscurity will say it reduces their efficiency, while those who actually benefit from it will just glance at it and ignore it. Nobody really wants their competitors to succeed.

Using cloaking with Google Ads is against Google’s policies and can lead to account suspension, domain bans, or advertiser verification issues.

Using cloaking with Google Ads violates Google’s policies, and accounts using it are at high risk of suspension, advertiser verification problems, or domain blacklisting.

Some advertisers see short-term gains, but once detection systems identify mismatches between crawler views and user views, campaigns often become unstable.
Clean, policy-compliant funnels with accurate tracking generally scale more consistently and keep accounts safer long term.

You have to change pixel setup too. So you may try it. google bot detects it.

Yes, with platforms like Clockerly you can still use tracking pixels and analytics normally. And when configured properly, filtering unwanted/bot traffic can help improve overall data quality instead of hurting results.

I am using cloakerly and it is working good for me though.

You can still track data, but the setup becomes much more sensitive.
A lot depends on how the cloaking flow is configured and whether tracking scripts behave consistently between review traffic and real users.
The bigger issue is usually data quality.
Once the user flow becomes fragmented, attribution and optimization can get messy fast.
Cloaking itself doesn’t automatically reduce performance, but unstable setups often create noisy signals for Google’s algorithm.
