Thats true. The main purpose of parasite is to use the main sites authority and in most cases it works. Some people even try to make lots of tier 2 types links to get boost.

Here is the answer you are looking for: YES there are TONS of links built to those parasite pages but you simply don’t see 99% of them because ahrefs and similar services can’t find them and index them until many months later.

It's only ever a whack-a-mole approach that G takes though. For every 'site reputation abuse'-ing site that gets hit, another couple will spring up to take it's place. And the ones that do get hit tend to bounce back within an update or two - look at Forbes, Outlook India and USA Today as previously hit for SRA-ing and back to killing it.
