Start with Google Search Console and check Pages/Indexing for errors like Duplicate without a user-selected canonical,
Google chose a different canonical, crawled currently not indexed, and sudden increases in indexed filter/parameter URLs. In Performance, compare affected product pages before and after the crawl for drops in clicks, impressions, and positions.
Then use Screaming Frog to audit missing/wrong canonicals, duplicate titles/meta, indexable faceted URLs, thin or duplicate filtered pages, broken Product schema, and oversized images.
Finally, run key pages in PageSpeed Insights and review LCP, INP, CLS, TTFB, and image optimization issues. Most clothing ranking drops after crawls are caused by incorrect canonicals, filter pages that create index bloat/duplicate content, or slow, large product images that hurt page experience.
