How many views (per video) and subs should a succesful chanel have in a month and week?

Stop chasing magic numbers. Success in a high-CPM niche like finance is 5k views per video, while in entertainment, you need 500k to even pay your bills.
In 2026, subscribers are just a vanity metric. Focus on your Revenue vs. Effort. If your channel is making more money this month than last month, you’re successful. Everything else is just noise.

There's no fixed benchmark, but in my opinion, a growing channel typically gets several thousand to tens of thousands of views per video and gains several hundred to several thousand subscribers each month if the content is in the right niche.

Just to have a reference

There’s no fixed “benchmark” - it depends on the niche and format.

But as a general guideline: if your channel is growing consistently (at least +5–10% subscribers per month) and your videos get views at or above your subscriber count, that’s a good sign.
Focus less on weekly numbers and more on steady growth and engagement.

There is no fixed number because a channel can do well with low views if the niche pays good and the audience buys. I would look more at steady growth and views per sub because 1k real views is better than 10k dead subs.

It depends on the niche, but a healthy growth channel typically achieves views equal to 10-20% of the total subscribers per video. The most important thing is maintaining viewer retention.

Subs mean nothing, RPM is everything. In finance/crypto, 3k views a video can easily make you $2k-$3k/mo with affiliate links. In gaming/entertainment, you need 100k views per video just to buy decent groceries from AdSense. Stop counting subs, count the cash

I’d focus on the growth, not a specific number.
Getting 20% more views every week is much better than having one random video hit 100K views

There's no fixed number as it depends on the topic and monetization method, but the minimum threshold for making a decent living from this profession is 5,000–10,000 views.
