Week 21: Slow But Steady

If I've learned 1 thing from this journey it's I work slow (like really slow ) but I am making progress and that's all that matters.

Tiktok:
Transitional week as we move from my old method to the new methods. Should be able to produce a large amount of videos this week and will upload starting next week


Pop Ads:
Finally finished my first landing page which almost the entire week with the help of Chatgpt. Should be ready to launch my first campaign in a few days and start getting data

Tiktok Earnings:



Made $5.36 this week. Which again is just noise but since to see I'm making something.

Week 21: Interesting Week

Actually made some sort of progress this week so lets get too it.

Tiktok:

I've done more testing with the wan animate 2.2 character swap, both with fp16 and f8. I tried to get f8 to work since it fits on a 5090 but the results aren't great.

This week I'll be going back to the wan animate 2.2 face swap workflow with fp16.

Was hoping to be production ready this week but still have a lot of testing and learning to do.




I uploaded this pretty bad AI video that weirdly went viral. A lot of people called it out as AI but that didn't stop Tiktok from promoting it.

So at least it appears that Tiktok doesn't care about AI content.



Unfortunately, the viral video did not result in much conversions because the account is obviously not a real woman. Earned $5.52 this week.

Pop Ads:

After many weeks and much work on my landing page I finally launched my first Pop ad campaign with a survey offer and the results were...



Dreadful. I actually spent $9.23 and only get 11 clicks to the offer page.

I'm going to have to completely change my landing page because i don't think it's possible to get this campaign profitable as it is.

Back to the drawing board.

I used ChatGPT because i can get the plus version for cheap. I also thought Claudecode acted like an assistant for people who actually coded. I know nothing about coding.

But i'll look into both and see if a complete beginner can use them. Thanks for the tip.

Week 22: Sad Days

Round 2 of pop ads was a complete failure and has me doubting myself

I have gone back and forth with how i want to generate videos on Tiktok. I really just need to stick to one way and mass produce



Did earn $6.90 this week.

Pop Ads:


Using Chatgpt I created 3 landing pages to test with another round of pop ads. I felt confident that I would have more success than last week.

I ended up having even less success. Going to have to go back to the drawing board.

What I learned about tiktok is that traffic is easy, conversion isn't. They also have that builtin browser that creates unnecessary extra hoops. Tiktok is great for local brands and personal branding though, but you're not into that.

For adult, there was a method working on tiktok, not sure if it still does, you may wanna look into it: recorded livestreams.

Try yt long form. Best is to go back to 9to5 and crack yt at the same time. You're gonna quit and come back anyway so better just get rdy for doing it long term, because even if you find another quick method, it will run dry again.

Week 23: Slightly Less Sad

Boys, I think we have to start thinking more positive. We can't be so down all the time. Doesn't help anything.

Tiktok Update:

So I have settled on a method and have produced about 15 videos so far.

I use Chatgpt to create a stable character (an attractive thick blonde). I then use that image with kling motion to create Tiktok videos.

I'm having some issues where Chatgpt start hallucinating but I'm usually able to get it back on track.

I will start creating accounts and uploading videos to them this week.

Pop Ads:

I had to take a step back and figure out what was wrong with landing page after last weeks disaster.

Let me show you the two versions:




I really thought that version 2 with the woman would be an upgrade but it actually got less clicks.

I don't want to pay for ad spying software so i went to a bunch of torrent and movie sites to see the pop ups there. I saw a lot of vpn offers and some adult but no survey offers so I don't know if this type of offer even works with propeller ad traffic.

If anyone does Pop ads and has any ideas let me know because I've had to go back to the drawing board.

Agree that conversations are definitely hard. I do use a script that forces the user to open the link in their browser and not the tiktok browser.

I've never made an Youtube long form videos so I probably will hold off on that.

Yeah but the last time I found a quick method I made 80k in a year. That aint pocket change. Also, learning paid ads should be more long term earning ticket moving forward.

50k$ in one year is doable if you stop trying to do too many things. Pick one offer, one main channel (TikTok or YouTube Shorts), and drive traffic into a simple funnel to make sales. In the first 30 days, just test content, keep what gets views, and drop what doesn’t work. It’s not about motivation, it’s about consistency and repeating what actually works.

if its just about money you are way better off making one SaaS after another with AI and auto-promoting them through social media with AI content.

also, you have to be faster. speed is the most important, its rule number one. do not waste your time making a landing page for one week. its literally a waste of time. i just created TWO landing pages within 2 hours and posted 30 tiktok videos today. dont get me wrong: you have to uphold the quality. it must be fast and high quality.

Week 23: Looking Back On Tiktok

Wanted to take some time to reflect on what I've tried on Tiktok so far.

Phase 1: Upload IG videos to Tiktok


This account has about 1000 followers so none of these really hit the FYP. They were sent only to my followers.

Conclusion: Tiktok can recognize recycled content from other platforms

Phase 2: Comfyui Image to Video




These videos are wan 2.2. image to video. So I downloaded an attractive woman's Instagram pictures and then use Chatgpt to write actions the women in the picture could do.

Then created 5 sec videos using Wan 2.2. image to video.

You can see these got more views than the reused content and 1 video even went viral.

The problem is the videos are fairly basic and even with attractive women don't get enough attention.

So we're on the right track with AI videos but we need to do more.

Phase 3: Kling Motion

This is where we are at now. I have created a character using Chatgpt. I then download tiktok videos and upload my character and the tiktok video to Kling motion and my character does the same actions as the video.

I'll upload 1 video per day of these to 1 account and see if we get some success.

A legendary $0.00 week but I honestly don't care. I think we are on the right track.

Good advice. I've done a lot of testing and have settled on 1 Tiktok account. I'll be focusing on that one account this week.

I'll be honest, making a Saas seems very challenging.

But yes I do have to be faster. A combination of trying to be perfect and not wanting to waste money does lead me to wasting my time making a landing page for a week.

I'll be trying to pick up my speed moving forward.

Thanks for the support. Even though I'm not making money I'll focus on sharing more of what I'm doing moving forward so at least everyone can see what doesn't work.

Respect for putting a clear goal out there, that alone takes commitment.
$50k in a year is definitely doable, especially with your experience, but I think the key will be focusing on one or two things and going all in instead of jumping between methods.
Social media can work, but consistency + a clear monetization plan matters more than the platform itself. A lot of people get stuck posting without a real funnel behind it.
Also, try to track what’s actually bringing results and double down on that instead of spreading too thin.
Looking forward to your updates, these journey threads are always interesting to follow.

Trying to make it perfect and micro management is a big problem. This is common if you just start out, my friends did the same mistake. You just need to get it somehow right and then see what works. If it works and you get traffic, double down and make it perfect. There is nothing worse than working on landing page for 1 week and then to not get any traffic
