Hey everyone,

I have been optimizing my website speed and wanted to know how much it really impacts SEO rankings.

Is it a major ranking factor or just a small one?

What tools do you use to measure and improve speed? Also, what is an ideal page load time I should aim for?

Page speed is a ranking factor, but not a major one compared to content and relevance. It mostly affects user experience, which can indirectly impact rankings and conversions. Aim for fast load times (under 2–3 seconds) and use tools like PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix. Fixing core issues like images and scripts usually gives the biggest improvements.

Important, but not a game changer. I've seen websites with a ridiculous PSI score speed-wise, but easily rank on Top tier competitive keywords.

Page speed is definitely a ranking factor, but it's more about user experience than a magic button for your seo rankings. Aim for under two seconds and just stick to using Google PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix to see where you can trim the fat

Page speed is very important for rankings because it directly affects user experience and bounce rate.A faster site helps both SEO performance and conversions especially on mobile traffic.

It’s not something extremely important that Google directly detects to boost your exposure, but if your page is faster, your bounce rate goes down—and that is a very positive signal for Google.

Website Speed is definitely a important ranking factor, because it not only effects ranking but also User experience
Usually google PageSpeed insights and GTmatrix are good tools for analyze Performance.

Page speed is a confirmed ranking factor, but its impact is moderate compared to content quality and relevance. It mainly affects user experience, slow pages increase bounce rates and reduce conversions. Focus on Core Web Vitals, optimize images, use caching, and improve server response times for better SEO and engagement.
