Body:

Sharing my exact process for finding and vetting in-app traffic sources for MVAS campaigns. This took me a while to figure out so hopefully it saves someone time.

Why source quality matters more in MVAS than other verticals:

MVAS conversion depends on carrier billing. Fake clicks don’t just waste money — they can get your offer flagged by the network. One bad source can tank your approval rate from 90% to 40% overnight.

My vetting process:

Step 1: Initial screening

Before spending a dollar, I check:

  • Is the source running other MVAS offers? (Ask directly or check their case studies)
  • What’s their traffic breakdown by OS? (Android should be 70%+)
  • Do they have carrier-level targeting? (Non-negotiable for me)
  • What’s their minimum daily volume? (Under 200/day isn’t worth the setup time)
Step 2: Test budget

Start with $50-100 max. Track:

  • Click-to-LP rate (should be 80%+)
  • LP-to-conversion rate (this is your real CR)
  • Approval rate from network (anything under 80% is a red flag)
Step 3: Scale decision

If after $100 spend:

  • ROI positive → scale to $300/day
  • ROI negative but CR is good → optimize LP, test again
  • Approval rate under 80% → cut immediately, don’t try to fix it
Step 4: Ongoing monitoring

Even good sources degrade. I check weekly:

  • CR trend (3-week moving average)
  • Approval rate trend
  • EPC trend
If any metric drops 20%+ from baseline, I pause and investigate before spending more.

Current situation:

Running this process across TH/MY/ID/PL/TR. Always looking to expand the source pool — if you’re running in-app or DSP traffic in these GEOs and want to compare notes on what’s working, hit me up.

Not here to pitch anything. Just think there’s value in people who are actually running these GEOs talking to each other directly.

Could you share which in-app source you are using? Im looking for inapp traffic for my mvas offer as well. thanks!
