How can I monetise my AI subreddit account?
Is it possible to sell it?

You can try pinned posts with value and adding some soft promo, like top AI tools or something like that, I'm not sure about selling it tho...

You can try pinning posts that provide genuinely useful content, while subtly incorporating some light promotion—for example, introducing top AI tools or similar solutions. However, I’m still not sure whether focusing on selling products is the right approach.

Monetizing a subreddit with 40K members requires leveraging the audience without breaking Reddit's rules. I've seen success with affiliate marketing, promoting relevant products or courses, and earning around $500-$700 per month with a similar-sized subreddit. To increase earnings, focus on building a mailing list and offering exclusive content or discounts to subscribers, which can boost earnings to $2,000-$3,000 per month. Selling the account is possible, but be cautious of Reddit's terms of service, and expect to get around $5,000-$8,000 for a subreddit of this size, depending on engagement and niche relevance.
These numbers seem a bit high to me.

number are good as far i am running one whats the niche of subreddit ?

I monetized my 60k+ Subreddit by sending cold-emails to companies that sponsor Youtube channels. So find your favorite Youtuber, and have a look at who sponsors them. Then, Google that company and reach out to the team. These guys have a special budget for Social Media advertising. I signed up Insta360 for 6 x months - took two weeks of negotiation.

Hope this helps

Pinned weekly AI tool threads convert insanely well if the subreddit still feels authentic

Yes, you can monetize it in a few days if the community is active and genuine.with 40K members and steady daily traffic, brands in the AI space pay sponsored posts, tool promotions, newsletter shoutouts or affiliate links.

I focusing on posting comparisons ,case studies, scam warnings and honest review that crypto users actually search for . Cross post valuable discussions into related subs where allowed, and encourage real conversations instead of dropping links.

Don’t kill the sub with direct affiliate links. Scrape the top tool discussions every week and use them to build a curated AI newsletter directory. Start a free beehiv/substck newsletter, make it the 'Official Subreddit Weekly Recap', pin it and charge AI startups $300+ per slot for a sponsored text link in the email. You keep the sub clean while building a highly flippable asset off-site
