Hi everyone,

I’ve been testing several traffic sources for the finance vertical lately, and I wanted to open a discussion on what’s actually converting for you right now.

In this niche, the quality of data is everything. Here’s my breakdown of where I’m seeing the best results for Forex and Crypto leads:

  • Google Ads (Search): Still the king of high-intent traffic. Hard to get through moderation, but nothing beats the conversion rate when the user is actively searching for a broker.
  • MSN (Microsoft Ads): A hidden gem. The audience is generally older, more affluent, and less "saturated" than on Google. Great for conservative financial offers.
  • Taboola/Outbrain (Native): Perfect for scaling through advertorials. Best for "warming up" cold traffic before they hit your site.
  • SEO: The long game. It takes time, but the LTV of SEO-driven traffic is usually the highest.
  • In-App: Massive volume at a lower cost. Requires strict data filtering to weed out bots and low-quality leads.

MSN is 10/10 for tier1 geos, and sometimes showing insane conversion up to 50%, but cost really a lot
So this source certainty for the sharks and strongest guys on the crypto market

Dmitry, I completely agree, MSN is the best there is right now, I'm judging purely from my own experience, it's performing very well with partners!

You've been testing or ChatGPT?

for forex/crypto, i find google search best for high-intent, msn good for less competition, native ads for warming traffic, seo long-term, in-app for volume

Hi, saw your post. I can provide crypto/forex traffic. What GEO and volume do you need?

Solid breakdown. Agree on Google Search being king for intent — the moderation hurdle is real but once you get through it the quality is unmatched. MSN is definitely underrated too.
One source I'd add that's been performing really well specifically for crypto (less so for traditional forex): Twitter/X ads. The targeting has gotten way better in 2026 and you can specifically reach people who follow crypto KOLs, engage with DeFi content, etc. The CPL is higher than native but the deposit rates I've seen are 2-3x compared to Taboola. The key is using thread-style ads that look like organic content rather than traditional display-style creatives.
Also worth mentioning Telegram as a traffic source — not through ads but through buying posts in established crypto channels. It's essentially influencer marketing but within the Telegram ecosystem. The targeting is very precise because people self-select into these channels, and you can negotiate directly with channel owners. Works best for crypto exchanges and DeFi platforms, less so for traditional forex brokers.
For SEO I'd second that it's the highest LTV play. One thing I've noticed is that comparison and review content (like "best crypto exchanges 2026" or "X vs Y broker") converts way better than educational content. People searching for comparisons are already in buying mode.

MSN definitely has potential, but for high-ticket finance offers, I've found that 'affluent' audience isn't always as ready to convert without a heavier pre-sell. Good for lead magnets, sure, but direct conversions on big deposits can be tougher than expected unless your funnel is dialed in perfectly. Google's still the fastest path to a funded account if you can get past moderation.

I've been trying to figure out where to even start with finance vertical traffic and most of what I find is either too vague or written by someone clearly trying to sell something

yeah, i’d add retargeting to the mix too. the volume is smaller, but the intent is already there so lead quality can be way better than cold traffic
