Seen a lot of people on social media recently bragging about facebook and how it's the fastest way to making $10k a month.
Obviously some of them are selling courses, services or just not sharing for altruistic reasons.
The point is it's not always the whole truth or more commonly as we see with any making money online method. You need to be in the top 1% or you earn pennies.

So that's what I want to find out, can you make $10k a month with facebook in 60 days? If it's really that simple.

Lightbulb moment
I got fired from my job in February and it was amazing. Had all this free time, caught up with family & friends, cortisol levels down and I didn't have to do a 2 hour daily commute.
When your looking for a new job, seeing the salary + what you have to do vs what people make online sitting at home. I knew I had to try.
So I started looking for ways to make money online: Spying on some sites, just mindless looking at sites which I could replicate then I found one which was getting around 2.5million sessions just from facebook and they didn't even bother with any serious SEO.

Then the lightbulb moment happened.
With Content monetization it lets get paid to post content AND get a good amount of traffic to your own site.

Progress so far
This wouldn't be BHW without doing some Black hat stuff. So I bought some pages
I bought the pages for two reasons:
1. Skip initial page audience growth start with 10k-20k+ followers
2. Get into the content monetization program as fast as possible / already be in it.
When I was buying these pages, probably a bit too excited about the income I could get from them and didn't really do any due diligence or research behind them. I'm pretty sure 2 of them are hacked pages/not sold by original owner.
Most obvious problem is looking at total followers instead of engaged followers, a page can have no traction even with a high follower count. Seems obvious but something I just didn't think about.

  • Page 1: 200k+ Followers + NO CM. Has the largest follower count but has a violation on it, so content monetization isn't possible. It's the one I've been doing trial and error with good results vs effort. Might be a niche thing, audience is heavily loyal and engaged.

  • Page 2: 20k+ Followers + NO CM. Smaller page, haven't really posted that much on here but have a general idea what works. It randomly got invited into CM so that was a pleasant surprise.

[*]Page 3: Inactive page but has CM active.
[*]Page 4: Bugged page? Won't let me change some payout settings + some menus don't work. E-mailed support but no response. Just have to wait and see.

Spent before the start of this journey
Pages(4) - $523
Domains(4) - $45.12 / 1 year
Similarweb trial - $0

Remaining Budget for this project - $335
Intend to spend on 3 things
1. Hosting - Most of the budget is going to be spent here.
2. Facebook ads - for page like/followers to get high quality followers on page 2,3&4.
3. If anything is left over try some 3rd party tools for scheduling posts. You can't natively schedule a post + put link in a comment, small detail but worth testing.

So you read all of that and probably wondering what's the plan? The super secret recipe? What do I know what other people don't know?

Trial and error + studying competitors, then coming up with my own way of doing things and creating what works. Trying to keep it simple.

Short journey so posting daily progress.

Day 1 ✅

Ever considered scaling and getting multiple Facebook accounts? Anyways following good luck with this.

Why did you buy domain for?

Setting ads to gain followers may not be best option.

I did not understand your intended monitization method, will it be a website with ads or the fb monetization methods?

Also, what is the tool you used to find that page that receives its traffic from fb

What is the hosting for? Are you bringing the traffic out from facebook to your website/blog or something, and earn google ads/or any ads from there? I thought you are earning from Content Monetisation program from meta itself.

You *can* hit $10k with Facebook in 60 days, but usually only if you already have experience, budget for testing, and a proven offer, because most beginners spend those first months just learning ads and burning cash. Social media makes it look easy, but the reality is consistency, data testing, and strong funnels matter way more than the platform itself.
