I feel like Facebook is no longer about sharing personal posts like before.

Most people I know only use it for groups, Marketplace, or following news pages.

Do you still share personal updates there, or has Facebook turned into something completely different for you?

I use it for advertising, marketplace and groups. i stopped with personal long time.

My wife spends her day 10 hours on facebook watching animated videos in facebook.

Personally, I only use Facebook to view content; I rarely share anything about my personal life there. I think many people prefer to do it on Instagram.

Same here — personal posts barely get traction anymore.

Most people use Facebook now for groups, Marketplace, news, and events.
Sharing personal updates feels almost pointless unless it’s highly engaging or in a niche group.

Same here. I rarely post personal stuff now. For me it’s mostly groups, Marketplace, and business pages. The feed feels more like ads and suggested content than friends updates. Facebook changed a lot compared to the early days.

Me too. Now I hardly post anything personal anymore, mainly just in groups, checking news and Marketplace. For me, Facebook is now more of a tool than a social network for sharing my life.

I've also gradually become more private on my news feed, mainly using messenger to stay in touch or browse Marketplace. Perhaps people now prefer interacting more deeply in hobby groups rather than posting public statuses like they used to.

In my region everything is alright. We share personal thoughts, browse groups, see the video and lots more.

I’ve almost stopped posting personal stuff, now I just stick to groups and pages that interest me. It used to be a place for friends and real life, but now it feels more like a news feed full of ads and memes.

You're right, the platform has changed a lot over time. it could be better to think of it as a place for updates, communities, or useful information instead of anticipating the old-fashioned way of exchanging personal things. Changing how you use it can make it more comfortable and useful.

To me, Facebook seems more about buying, selling, and communities now, and less about sharing personal life updates.

Personally, I mainly use Facebook to browse and consume content rather than share much about my personal life. It seems like many people today feel more comfortable sharing daily moments on platforms like Instagram instead.

I completely agree with your opinion. Things have changed now; people don't feel as comfortable sharing as they used to.

Don't forget you also can earn some bucks on facebook by doing professional mode and do interaction with others

No **Facebook isn’t only *Groups* and *Marketplace* now**, but it *feels* like those are some of the most visible parts because Meta keeps pushing them and adding features, while the old feed and other features have become less central in user experience. Facebook still has a news feed, *Friends* tab, Messenger, Watch, and Pages, but many people now mainly use it for community groups and local buying/selling, not just scrolling random posts.

Thats not true at all

Depends on what kind of ppl you're talking about

And depends on the country

But no, youre not right.

Update your personal profile to maintain engagement. I still see that most users update and take care of their personal profiles every day, while only a few use them to make money from their content.
