- Go to Google Merchant Center and click "Get Started" .
- Sign in to your Google Account (a business email is recommended).
- Fill in: Business name, Country, and Time zone (choose carefully, as it cannot be changed later).
- Select the option "On my website" .
- Accept the terms and click "Create account" .
- Go to "Tools & Settings" → "Business info" → "Website" tab.
- Click "Verify and claim website" .
- Enter your website URL and choose the "Add HTML tag" method.
- Copy the string from the content="..." field.
- Paste the copied code into the < head > section of your website's homepage.
- Return to Merchant Center and click "Verify website" .
- After verification, click "Claim website" .

My recommendation is to use official verification instructions and stay away from shortcuts or ways that haven't been checked out. Follow the right measures to make sure your account is safely validated and stay away from any risk.

Just add your website to Google Merchant Center, verify with HTML file or meta tag, then claim it, done

Usually you need to verify both the website and the business info.
For GMC it’s mainly site verification (HTML file, tag, or Search Console) and then making sure policies, contact details, and product data are clean.
If anything looks off, Google just keeps it in “pending” or rejects it.
