Imagine investing at $100000 per bitcoin last year and now in few months, it reduced to almost half. Can anyone sleep peacefully after investing in bitcoin with so much fluctiations?

As long as you put money that you will not need in 5-10 years time then yes, you can have peace of mind. Long term HODLing is a mainstream thing.

imagine investing at $50000 per bitcoin in late 2024 and in few months, it gave you double. Can anyone sleep peacefully after investing in btc with so much fluctuations?

you could just as easily turn your statement around, imagine putting in 100k when it was at $16K in ‘22, you’d still be almost 4x on your initial.

It’s all a matter of perspective, don’t put in more than you’re willing to part with. Or better yet, stick to a DCA plan.

I think people should invest only the money they can afford to tie up for many years and, if the worst happens, lose.
So, sleep soundly. For everyone else, I sympathize.

Big investors or traders in bitcoin have their money invested in multiple other places. I agree that there is possibility of major correction but possible reward is also quite high.

It's a mindset and it depend also on money incomes. If those 100k is all you have, you will be stressed. But if you get money on other kind of business or work, all will be easier

Yes I sleep more peacefully when my BTC is on my cold wallet (regardless of the price).

I actually find it harder to sleep when my money is sitting in a bank.

Haha yes so true. No trust at all in common banks

Crypto only kills your peace of mind if you invest more than you can afford to lose. If you stick to a long-term strategy and ignore the daily charts, you can sleep just fine. It's all about risk management.

If you check price every hour you will lose peace for sure.

Crypto is volatile so size your position small. Only invest what you can hold long term without stress.

That's sort of just how investment as a game is played sometimes. No serious investor allocates capital to a volatile asset (and yes I consider all crypto as being volatile assets) expecting linear returns. What happened to Bitcoin is a primo example.
The crypto's always exhibited significant drawdowns too. The only surprise is for those who didn't keep the risk profile at the back of their minds before hand. Granted no one could have foreseen the reason for the drop, a drop should still be very much accounted for.
For your own sanity, diversify. Align your time horizon, size appropriately. Leaning solely on asset selection is gonna turn normal fluctuations into full on sanity checks.

You need to have a thick skin, and realise, investing into bitcoin (or ANY kind of investment) is really a long term thingy. You literally have to forget about it. Not follow the news. Not keep up with the price, whether it's S&P 500, your NVDA stock, Crypto or even pokemon cards. Forget they exist. Check prices in 5 years. You'd be surprised. Pleasantly ;)

Crypto yes nothing in your control no governmental backing you sleep in night in morning crypto is no more what will you do nothing so that is why i dont precisely like the crypto for long term holding actually its for short term only

Maybe you should just invest small amounts of money each month, and never money you can’t afford to lose. Over a long period of time, it should be profitable. That’s what I would do if I had extra money to invest, but obviously this is not financial advice.

When you invest in cryptocurrency, you must be prepared to lose all your money in advance. Cryptocurrency is pure speculation; right now, it's difficult to argue that it's an investment.

I think as other people say, it's just a money income thing. If you have really big income, I don't think it will trigger you that much, but if that were your last money, oh, well..
