Marketing inside Facebook Groups

I own a company in the dating niche, and organically posting inside Facebook groups has helped us grow, and generate revenue over the past few months.

Finding groups where I can get away with posting the company organically is getting harder and harder with Meta's AI moderation systems so I am now exploring the possibilities of paying for promo posts/contacting group admins. The posts I put in these groups are not edgy or anything bad, they look very organic, it's just that Meta will send all my posts to pending, since my account is new to the group.

This itself is very difficult too, mainly because these FB group admins have flooded inboxes, so my messages are just lost in inboxes basically.

I'm curious if anyone has a better way to orchestrate this, or if there are brokerages that can negotiate deals for me with these Facebook groups.

The category of groups I am looking to post in are a pretty wide range- anything dating, singles, new to XYZ city, memes, etc all work well for the company. Good quality groups that aren't filled with spam and at least have 25k members.

Any advice is appreciated.

I’ve faced the same issue recently. What helped me most is warming up inside the group first. Spend a few days commenting and engaging before posting anything, it reduces the chance of your post going to pending.

For admins, don’t send long messages. Engage with their posts first, then send a short, direct message asking if they offer paid promos or pinned posts. Mods are often easier to reach too.

Also, make your posts conversation-based instead of promo-based, then mention your brand naturally in the comments.

And if you want to scale faster, you can find freelancers or small agencies who already have connections with big Facebook groups.

That approach made things much smoother for me

If you don't mind could you PM me where to find these freelancers / small agencies?

I also noticed that a lot of these mega size FB groups (500k+ members) are usually ran by accounts in Pakistan, so I guess UpWork/Fiverr would be a good place for me to start sourcing.
 
You can create your own group and run ads for it so people find your products and visit the group. I think this will generate more revenue for you.

Why don't you create your own group and then promote it organically? It will save you time and effort and you will not rely on other people and other facebook groups.

Pay admins directly and it might work, but it’s a mess and not reliable because most people’s inboxes are full. A better way would be to establish a warmer presence by interacting with the group before posting or by using legitimate Facebook ads targeting people with the same interests instead of trying to get past moderation. You can also search for influencer shoutouts or community managers who already have connections with large groups.
 
try tagging admins in the group or sending a message to the group’s page directly so it doesn't just sit in the spam folder.
 
In Facebook groups, posting too much can lead to your account being flagged as spam and restricted. Share selectively to maintain your account and build good relationships with the community.
 
On Facebook, the most sustainable route isn’t mass promo posts but building partnerships—offer revenue share or exclusive perks to group owners so they benefit directly from promoting you.
 
Main thing: new accounts in groups get auto-flagged, so almost everything goes to pending. What works better is using aged/warm profiles + joining and engaging for a few days before posting.


For promo, I’d also avoid direct “ad style” posts — questions/polls/stories usually pass easier, then drop the link in comments or DM on request.


Brokers exist, but most are overpriced. A VA + spreadsheet + consistent follow-ups usually works better.
 
Best approach is warm up your profile and engage in groups before pitching, admins trust active members more; for paid promos, many people use influencer or community marketing agencies that handle outreach and deals with group owners.

If your account is new in the group, it’s normal that posts go to pending. Instead of pushing promos right away, try warming up the profile — comment, engage, be active for a few weeks first.
For paid promos, don’t rely only on inbox. Check if admins list contact emails or Telegram in group description. Some bigger groups work with media buyers directly, but you’ll need to build relationships.
Also be careful with dating niche + FB AI, it’s sensitive. Keep it soft and community-style.

Private groups are usually reviewed by the group administrator, not by Facebook staff.
I think the quickest way is to contact the group administrator to negotiate advertising for your post in that group.
 
Spend a few days commenting and interacting before posting your advertisement.
