I am filling up their pockets.

On the side, how much are you guys spending on AI tools in general a month? My average is around 1-1.3k a month, last let's say 4 months.
I combine Cursor, Gemini, Veo, and couple other smaller AI tools.

The only money I spend on AI is openai credits for the api.I use my brain most of the time

Not gonna lie, Cursor helped me make products/tools that I had in my brain for years but didn't have nerves to get fucked by devs left and right with their deadlines. You just reminded me that I need to check on my OpenAI API spendings, thanks!

I love AI when it come to boilerplate code, but I love to code stuff myself. The brain is there for creativity
.

AI tools cost a lot, but they really help get work done faster and easier.

It's nice to play around with them though. I tried bolt for a while and it seems like easy to make websites are very fast and cheap

Just curious is it for productivity or the business? In my mind productivity for 1k a month should suck you under the table. For business is totally reasonable tho.

AI is truly wonderful and can be helpful in numerous ways.

Check out Claude Code with their MAX plan. Way cheaper and in my experience way better than Cursor at coding

Yeah, same. I am also taking the help of AI to get some ideas turned into products. There's no excuse to not start something nowadays.

There are free (and smaller) models served on Openrouter. If you can handle more time on debugging...just saying.

80% of projects I do are for productivity, the other 20%is to make my productivity levels high, my life easier, like personal management apps.
