Facebook Disabled my account due to "irregular activity" (I suspect it was cus my cc expired and they just closed the account)
I sent a message to support but I heard they take weeks or never respond at all.

Which precautions should I take to open a new one? I dont want to get banned for co-relation with my pre-existing account

Any help will be much appreciated

It's best to use a different device or create a new user profile on your machine, change your IP (using 4G or a residential proxy is better), and use completely fresh info (email, phone number, card). Don’t log into your old account, and after creating the new one, let it warm up for a few days — don’t rush into running ads or adding a card right away.

What type of proxies do you recommend? is this not against TOS? also I live in a 3rd world country so, not a lot of proxys for sale on my location

If I use a mobile device to create the account and later on I log in on my laptop do you think Il be at risk? I think my modem auto switches IP when rebooted so maybe that and re installing or using a different browser will do the trick
any thougts on that?

You can try setting up a new account using a fresh browser profile or device, and make sure all details (email, phone, payment) are different from the disables account. Logging in from a mobile hotspot can help with a clean IP. Just take it slow and keep things looking natural- no sudden ad spends or bulk actions right way.

Try creating a new browser and a new IP address that might help.

Fresh device or clean VM, new browser profile, new IP (mobile proxy or residential), new payment method, and aged FB profile if possible. Don’t rush ads—warm the account with legit activity for a few days before launching.

Use a fresh email, new payment method, separate BM, and clean device/browser to avoid linking to your old account.

If possible, create the account on a clean device (PC or smartphone never used with the old account).

Use a stable and clean IP (avoid VPNs/proxies linked to the old account).

To open a new Facebook Ads account in 2025:
Create or log into a Facebook Business Manager.
Go to Business Settings → Accounts → Ad Accounts → Add New.
Choose Create New Ad Account, enter details, and set payment method.
Verify your business if required.

Fresh browser, new IP, clean payment method, and don’t reuse old info or you’ll get flagged again.

New email and phone number – don’t reuse old ones.
New IP address – use mobile data or a clean VPN IP.
New browser or browser profile – avoid cookies/cache from the old account.
New payment method – don’t use the old credit card.
Unique personal info – name, photo, and behavior should look legit and fresh.
Don’t link ad accounts immediately – act like a normal user first.
Avoid aggressive activity – like mass posting or friend adding.
“Warm up” the account for 3–7 days – behave like a regular user.
Avoid VPNs with “dirty” IPs – check IPs against spam/ban databases.

You should use a valid card, avoid duplicate IP/information with the old account, create a clear profile and spend slowly.

Just try to open a new account from a fresh device with fresh Payment details as well.

Make a completely new setup—different email, card, and business info—don’t link anything to your old account.

Open a new account, reset your setup, or build a new setup for a new, fresh IP. Add a fresh payment gateway/Card, and you are good to go

Using a new virtual phone number for verification saved me last time when my account got randomly shut

You should use new valid information and cards, avoid sharing IP/device with old accounts, fully verify and run ads slowly to reduce the risk of being blocked.

Best option is appeal first, if new account then use real info, clean device, and follow FB policies strictly.

Create a new Facebook ad account legally through Business Manager, use real details, a valid payment method, and follow policies don’t try to bypass or replace a restricted account.

I'd be careful about opening a new account right away. If the original account was only disabled for review or billing-related issues, creating another one could actually make things worse if it violates Facebook's policies.

Your best bet is to keep following up with support and make sure any outstanding billing/payment issues are resolved. If you do end up creating a new account, use accurate information and comply with Facebook's terms rather than trying to hide a connection to the previous account. Facebook is pretty good at linking accounts, and attempts to evade enforcement can lead to another suspension.

Out of curiosity, was this a personal account, Business Manager, or ad account that got disabled? The next steps can be different depending on which one it was.
