Hello everyone!
A lot of us have got many blogs on wordpress. What are you doing before GDPR? Are you disabling Google Analytics? What with Disqus comment system?

Fuck GDPR. Another useless rule of the EU. They don't have the manpower to watchdog everyone on every dumb thing they implement.

Unless you are a very big player I wouldn't worry too much but if you want to play it safe go check all the stuff Asif posted.

There is a lot of fuss about this issue especially after the Facebook fiasco, but it remains to be seen exactly what will happen. Especially they will not have the time to check small players like us.

I was reading that even big players are confused, Ill thought out

I'm no expert, but didn't EU already have this mandatory cookie notice regulation, too? As much as I know, I've never heard ANYBODY getting pinned for not having it or having it implemented in a too much of a half-assed way.

So, judging by my non-existent expertise as an EU citizen, this new regulation will be no different. (unless you've taken extra steps to be SUPER intrusive, of course)

Heck, even pirating in most countries is just considered meh... (unless you go overboard from what everyday users pirate)

To me, these things seem like quick cash crab at will when needed to "show example" or something.

Again, that's just my (a pleb's) take on it.

Yeah that was also one of their useless things. Now after years many people in Parliament said it was kinda useless and annoying.

None of my sites have had a cookie notification however I did write about it on my privacy page but never had any mail asking for the cookie notification.

Most users don't even understand what those cookies are

I didnt find answer for question with disqus. I can use it on my PBN?

GDPR is very important for my company because I've got about 300 blogs in my PBN. I create plugin to delete ip from comments and change the author name for Guest. But on a 40% of blogs I've got disqus. Uninstall it?
