We've recently made a change that will stop email notifications going out for watched threads and pm's that contain the full message in the notification.
Instead, you will be notified that you have a message on BHW and you should visit the forum to read it.
If you no longer want to receive notifications for individual threads or sub-forums:
You can manage your watched forums here https://www.blackhatworld.com/watched/forums
You can view your watched threads here https://www.blackhatworld.com/watched/threads to stop watching click into the thread and hit "UnWatch Thread".
If you don't log into BHW within a 180 day period you will no longer receive any messages from BHW at all.
As per Facebook, Linkedin and most other platforms - We have done this to improve forum engagement and deliverability of messages - due to the nature of the topics discussed on BHW we constantly struggle to deliver messages/notifications where content gets caught up in spam traps. This should allow all members to receive notifications and then log onto BHW to review at a time suitable to them.
