You shouldn't buy your domains at the auctions actually, it can be pricey, yes. You'll be better off buying expired domains. I'm using Scrapbox + Expired Domain Finder plugin. You should also focus on longtail keywords with low competition.

The benefit of auctions is that you get the age of the domain....whereas in expired domain you get a new registration date and you lose age. What TF, DA, PA do you look for in a domain? what about expireddomains.net as it has already listed domains?

I personally use it for tier 1 and even money sites. Yes, the quality might be slightly worse than if you'd write it all by hand, but hey, you can build thousands of such sites with a few mouse clicks. Just separate sites with hand written content from those that you post content automatically to. And by the way, visitors read Multiblogger content, average time on site is around 90 seconds.

I started making two web2.0 properties on wordpress.com. After initial posts for 2 days most of them got indexed but after few days almost all indexed posts are vanished from Google and no more new post getting indexed. Surprising!! Either Google quality control has become more stringent or wordpress got some spam or quality identification algo. Self hosted wordpress does not have such problem.
