Does anyone use this? I've seen it recommended in one other thread, but no other info besides that. Is it any good? I know there are numerous "which cloaker should I use" threads out there - but this one seems to be the only Wordpress specific one.

Is there a cheaper one that's just as good or better? (WP Cloaker is $179). I know there was some debate over SEC, but their homepage is a squeeze page which was kind of a put off.

Can anyone give any type of review on WPC or a cloaker worth trying in this price range that works?

Thanks!

WPC looks very nice...Try Kloakit for cheap and decent cloaking software

WPCloaker is a brilliant tool, all my cloaked pages are still indexed and doing fine. Dave the creator really knows his stuff, the plugin fetches IP lists from his server to keep things up to date also.

I can confirm it works on Wordpress MU as well, i've got a number of MU blogs on subs funneling traffic to sales pages and the whole thing runs perfect. He's got some more nice features lined up for v2 (Current version is 1.6) and don't quote me on it but i believe he intends to make it CS and Cloak in one go.

Actually i'll email him, about a month ago he mentioned about starting a sales thread here for WPCloaker.

thanks Sweetfunny for the review. I'll look harder at it. I looked at the kloakit threads, but looks like you have to have more than just kloakit to make it work optimally. Does WPCloaker just work on it's own or do I have to have other stuff to make it work at it's best like some of the other cloakers?

The only things you need is WordPress of course which is free, Domain + Hosting along with content to cloak. You can get many content plugins on BHW like Caffeinated Content, PLRtoWordpress, ZipPoster and so on.

But that's all you need, nothing more besides a URL or Affiliate link to drive your cloaked traffic to. The plugin does detection by:

Useragent Only
IP Only
IP+Useragent
Referrer
Language

Then on top of that there's a check box to do reverse DNS lookups, this can slow down the redirection or cloak slightly as it connects with Arin and does a Reverse DNS lookup. However, if it comes back as a spider (say if Google got new IP's) it adds the IP to your bot list so it's self learning. :)

However i haven't been running the rDNS, just Useragent + IP's that it fetches and as i mentioned i have not lost a domain or page from the index.

Dave has also coded handling for translators like Babelfish, he knows his stuff and it's a really sweet plugin. Watch the videos on the sales page if you haven't already.

I'm pretty sure i'm going to buy it. Did I lose my mind or does this price change for this thing? I could have sworn it was 179 last night and now it's 197. ugh! is there any way to get it for a discount? I didn't see any coupons anywhere. While free would be LOVELY, I'm willing to pay - but 200 it starting to hurt my budget.

I haven't been able to find it on any torrents or download sites or even here. So really, just the vendor.

Code:
http://www.wpcloaker.com

It's a really great plugin that does the business at a reasonable cost. It uses the same http://www.iplists.com/new/ bot IP listing as KloakIt which in itself hasn't been updated in months, so don't know how that compares with Fantomas (I like cloaking but not THAT much!).

Anyone able to share this?? Would love to try it! Alot of people seem to be looking for this.

:cowboy:

on the "do not share" list. think this is provided by a member.

Yes it's on the Do Not Share list, it has been there for a while.

Also things like bot IP detection is provided as a service, this is critical to staying up to date and not having your cloaked domains caught.

There is some freakin fantastic features on their way, such as adding Flash/Javascript CS, Referrer Blanking, Framing etc. Within the next 24 hours or so v1.9 is being released, and chances are all the above will make it in.

freller, with the IP lists and Kloakit not comparing to Fantomas that's true indeed Ralph's Fantomas list is superior. But, the good news is you will able to plug Fantomas in to WPCloaker v1.9

Dave the owner, is a down right genius and imho i'd pay $197 just for the information he feeds you. He is a no BS straight shooter.

Anyone got a voucher code or discount for this software

Cheers

From what I see, it's a basic program with a VERY outdated ip list. A couple input text fields..... sorry, not impressed. I'll stick to a real wordpress cloaker like Blog Cloaker.

Hi, just an update for folks on wpcloaker:

1. There is another product being released called Wordpress Cloaker. It is not the same. The support desk has received some questions about WordpressCloaker and we can't answer them - it's not our product.

2. The comment about the IP list isn't fair. There are not a lot of public IP lists around - we use the ones that everyone else uses and then augment that list. In addition we support using Fantomaster Spiderspy and any other external list you have or subscribe to.

I can tell you for a fact that our Google list and the Spiderspy list are incredibly similar. I am a customer of Spiderspy and it would have been easy to rip Ralph off but that is not right and our lists aren't identical. I won't play the "my list is better than your list" game but I am confident that Spiderspy is an excellent product and wpCloaker's list is solid.

3. We do more than just IP cloaking. We support variations of framing, referrer cloaking, redirects, etc. In the upcoming 2.0 version of wpCloaker we'll be support the cookie/referrer cloaking that a lot of the big adsense players are using with flogs and fakenews to kick Google's ass.

4. There is no coupon right now for wpCloaker. My bad. I'll put something together and then make sure to keep the value for existing users who paid full price.

5. A lot of folks know I got delayed with the Aggressive SEO course. And then just when a ryhthm was in place Google had the new nofollow announcements. After tesing out a bunch of new and established sites with variations on nofollow and span/js links we're back on track and I have content that should organize and wrap up ASEO.

There are videos on the homepage and I must say, I was impressed. I will be buying this as soon as I get the dosh together.
