• eBay Partner Network does not compensate for sales that come from invalid click activity, which includes, but is not limited to the following:
  • clicks generated by a publisher clicking on their own ads
  • automated clicking tools/traffic sources/robots
  • activity generated by other deceptive software
• Publishers may only place links and/or promotional content on sites they own. Affiliate links on third party sites such as Craigslist, MySpace, etc. are not allowed.
• You will not redirect any traffic to middle servers for the sole purpose of masking your referring source of traffic. This includes the use of URL shortening services (including but not limited to ************************, short.to and cloakedlink.com).

well , middle server means as it says some url redirect for example out from your server to another server and then to ebay.

EPN has never liked blank referrers. They are basically saying you can't use the url shortners or anything like that anymore.

Have the flash stuffers fixed the problem with clicks without pageloads? I haven't used flash to stuff, but was considering it as I can't be sure that cpa-r is passing the referrer along (I have watched in the headers and it says it is, but it says that with marketleverage and when you check you stats, the referrer is blank). Maybe epn has better tracking than marketleverage?

you mean using a similar script like ************************ on your own server for the redirection ? yup .it's illegal . If you have some brain to think , use CPA redirector ( search for it here itselt ) . This fille fake the refferer and much better instead of having a tinyurl clone website . After reading the description of redirector , you will understand the difference

I'm not surprised that they no longer accept blank referrers. I noticed on CJ the other day that they don't allow blank referrers either and assumed that it was leftover from the ebay partnership days. The ebay affiliate program is dying one little bit at a time and will be gone entirely soon. Their brand is too well known and there is way too much fraud going on.

I cloak and redirect my traffic to Landing Page Builder domains. Leaves the landing page as the referrer so everything looks legit. LPB has an optional double meta refresh to clear the referrer, but ebay doesn't seem to like that. I have been bringing in 25-30K a month doing that.
