Instagram is getting more worse by every update.
The feed is already fucked up.
I mean it's not sorted by upload date anymore.

What do you think? How long it will be this profitable?

i feel like theyre making the right steps by adding live videos, literally all of snapchats features, but the only thing i dont like is the non chronological order of posts which isnt too bad becuase if your followers dont see it when its posted the post will go to the top after like 30mins to an hour. but i do think instagram isnt going to die anytime soon.

How can we work with live videos while we're sitting behind some big niche pages?

i mentioned live video not necessarily a feature we can use but more for celebrities/anyone famous to keep their followers more engaged and sticking with instagram. and who knows we will probably find a way to utilize live vids on big niche pages

going for live videos via streaming prerecorded videos is actually hugely beneficial. this also works via youtube/facebook

It's not gonna be dead, at least not soon, IG is updating every now and then to make their users more comfortable. Now by adding the Live feature it helped a lot the IMers and the users.

It's going through the exact same changes FB did a couple years ago. Timelines get optimized for $$$$ and boosting.

Twitter wants to change this too, but has faced enormous backlash. They can't make money unless they order the tweets with their sponsors at the top. Just look at Google SERPs, at least 60% of the page is sponsored links.

I dout instagram will die, but for me personally they have tried a bunch of features recently that doesnt float my boat

Instagram has something that the others don't. The backing and money of Facebook.

With that said, it is working to making their posts clickable. Once that is done, there is no looking back.

Instagram is not going anywhere soon, but it is annoying that they are implementing their FB algorithm slowly

IG will take over facebook and snapchat. snapchat is holding on to life right now with their filters

YES!!! Finally we will get rid of all of those noobs-I-only-spam-IG-with-OGAds that have been so anoooooooying!!!!

Just being out with younger people I have noticed everyone posts to snapchat.

Ig seems to be just for browsing or memes

its the platform with the best chances as far i consider ...... its easy to use and worldwide. it will not die.

Even though I am just learning into IG, I must say I agree with you 100%

Give it 12-24 months and there will be something else out. The games always changing but there are still suckers to earn cash off of. Just bank while you can. It will most likely be one of the top social media platforms like twitter and facebook for a while till the next "fad" comes out. Lets face it people are so self obsessed that's why it has done so well. Hence why snap chat is still around.

In a place when some people see failure, some people see opportunitys, if some users in BHW or outside of BHW don't want to use anymore IG for a income porpoise, is much better for this users that use IG for this.

In other words, when some people say that will die soon, other people are making some good income right now with this and if much better for this users if less people try to monetize this.

Less competence = more money.

I believe Instagram is making the appropriate changes to make their network more profitable (for them). The Live Story feature is meant to compete with Snapchat (their main competitor). Also the changes in the feed make it easier for them to display ads and display more relevant posts. It's just a matter of Instagram's users getting used to the updates. Instagram is here to stay, for now.
