And how so? I check about 400K Urls per day with it. Only have a few false positive on FR domains

Domain Hunter Gatherer is accurate for all TLDs that can be checked. I know that there are at least a couple of whois servers in DHG that other tools are not able to check (or just haven't found them)

Any idea how Scrapebox does it? Do they have their own registrar?
They just use Verisign who is Api or server I think and some others for different TLDs

Is this the "Alive" checker? 5 out of 6 "dead" domains are always taken. And I just checked it today with 6,000+ domains

Scrapebox is a great tool for that, plus it does lots of different stuff. Quite handy.
