Thought I ought to review my experience with this service to help others sat on the fence. I bought a package consisting of 6 sites from Kingmaker at the end of June and after 6 weeks of pestering had my 6 micro sites.
The sites themselves are on a fairly good template optimised for adsense and look clean and modern. The articles are either written by someone who is not a native english speaker or auto generated from a tool.
To be quite honest I had started to lose interest in the project having come up with an exciting idea to better monetize my main online (tourist information) website. I decided to just leave them as they are and stick my adsense code in to see what happens.
I'm not new to IM so was quite skeptical as to what could be achieved with a couple of average micro niche sites like this. Since they were published on the 14/08/2016 I haven't touched them, no fresh content, no SEO of any sort (other than whatever Kingmaker did on date of publishing which did lead to the sites being indexed relatively swiftly).
Here are the adsense report stats from the past 30 days-
Site 1 - Page views 15, ad impressions 43, clicks 3, estimated earnings £0.39
Site 2- Page views 3, ad impressions 8, clicks 0, estimated earnings £0.00
Site 3- Page views 1, ad impressions 3, clicks 0, estimated earnings £0.00
Site 4- Page views 1, ad impressions 5, clicks 0, estimated earnings £0.00
Site 5- Page views 0, ad impressions 0, clicks 0, estimated earnings £0.00
Site 6- Page views 0, ad impressions 0, clicks 0, estimated earnings £0.00
As suspected, this isn't a straightforward get rich quick scheme. If you are creative and know of ways to send a load of traffic to these sites then you may get some clicks and make some money. If you have the time and ability (or budget) to write a load of unique, compelling content you should see some long term results which is what i'm interested in.
If you plan to just leave the sites to run on autopilot then I would suggest saving your money and invest it in existing projects or buy an existing site which is a couple of years old and achieving steady traffic/revenue. The latter however is easier said then done unfortunately!
