is there a way to block people on bhw ? I will happily block one COMPLETE idiot who posts nonsense all the fucking time - irritates the hell out of me ..
Will the ignore block him ?

I don't think it blocks them as such, but means you won't see any of their posts I think.

Yes, the ignore option does block them.

@macdonjo3 and I tested out the block/ignore feature back in June. When you block/ignore someone, it hides everything from that user and you won't see any PMs from them (nor would they show up if you unblock them later).

Interestingly enough, when I temporarily ignored you right now for the sake of testing, if I go to this thread URL, your main post doesn't show up; it makes it look like davids355 is the thread starter.

Yep, then hit the ignore button and you won't have to see posts from the members who are bothering you again (unless you unblock them or browse the forum without logging in).

Just know that if you block them, they can still see your content.
