Hey guys,

today I'd like to give something back to the community. I'm a full time product creator/launcher (technical niche) and I get the same questions nearly every time if someone is talking to me regarding my business: "Well, that sounds great. But I don't have the skills and knowledge to launch products,.... Do you have any other methods where I can make around XXX$ per month?" - My answer: "I don't know"

Well, I have the problem that I don't have that much knowledge besides product launching, e-mail marketing and standard Affiliate-Marketing + CPA. After I got the above question around 5 times, I've started thinking about it and had an idea in mind:

It's a method which involves CPA - Marketing + offline promotion (you can outsource that easily):

I've seen a TV commercial nearly everyday and made a quick research if they have an affiliate program. I've found out that they have a PPL offer on PeerFly and Neverblue.

I've taken my affiliate link, made a tracking on it with prosper (you don't have to do that, it's just great for statistics and demographics) and made a quick flyer with MS Word. Something like:" Get your free account on XYZ.com. Register here: YOURAFFILIATELINK.com and enjoy all benefits." I've made around 100 copies of that "newsletter" and printed it out. After that, I've asked a friend of mine to hand out those flyers... It took him around 1 hour to hand all of the 100 flyers out (e.g.: under windscreen wipers). Out of those 100 flyers, I got 17 signups with 9$ PPL rate. So that's 153$ for around 20 minutes of work (reserach, flyer creation, phone call to my friend).

The last time someone asked me on how to make some side hustle I've told him that and he tried it with an different offer:

His results:

flyers: 200
sign-ups: 31
PPL: 6,5$
Revenue: 201,5$

And the cool part is that he outsourced the promotion on fiverr. There are some guys on fiverr (I had no clue about that one) which do that work for you for 5$... Nearly everywhere in the world.

Summary:

1. Research for some offers where you know that the average Joe knows about that company.
2. Get your affiliate-link
3. Print out some flyers
4. Hand those flyers out by yourself or outsource this part
5. Profit ($$$)

In my opinion, that's an easy method, everyone can try out and the worst thing which may happens are no leads but there is so much to gain and nearly nothing to lose.

Hope you guys will try it out, it's really easy.

All the best! ;)

Very good method, just 2 questions:

1. You said you promoted products from tv commercials ("as seen on tv"). But

Get your free account on XYZ.com. Register here: YOURAFFILIATELINK.com and enjoy all benefits."

Which account?! Did you promote physical as seen on tv products or some digital products?

2. Handing out flyers yourself only makes sense if you live in a big city. Which I do not. So outsourcing on fiverr is an option but how can you be sure the guy really hands the flyers out and does not just throw them in the next basket? There already was such a scam on fiverr a year ago when they pretended to hand them out on college campus but in fact they did not, someone found and then he got so much negative feedback that his account was closed.

LOL, I think I bought from that guy. I reported him, and his reply was "Cool story bro". What a douche he was.

1. In the case of mine and my friend, it was a PPL offer. You may try it with physical products too, I haven't done that.

2. Well, it's the same thing with everything... lol. How can I be sure that my leads or clicks will not get shaved from networks? How can I be sure that I will get paid through an Affiliate-Network... There is no guarantee my friend. I would rely on reviews to be honest. Tell him that he has to make a picture of at least 20 flyers on cars, etc.

There's data letting you know if they are shaving or scamming you, however with Fiverr you are blindly accepting the word of people passing out cards for $5.

Well, I have used that as a metaphor...

Ah ok, so you promoted a product that was promoted on tv, but not a physical one. So something like car reports or insurance comparison?
I found a seller on fiverr now, with 4.9 rating, so I think he might be good .... will now search for an offer and create a flyer

Exactly like this, and it took quite some time till they found out, he got good feedback before they recognized his scam.

@anatho

1.) Exactly, something like that. In my case, it was a dating offer where the company behind made huge promotions on TV.

2.) As said before, there are some ways to nearly ensure that the guy will do the work properly: e.g.: tell him that you need a proof in form of some pictures, etc.

Maybe you can show us an example flyer? Thanks.

One can easily scale up this concept by utilizing multiple Fiverr gigs that offer to distribute flyers in different parts of the country. One can run 5, 10 or more mini-campaigns at the same time, sending each gig seller the same flyer. It's also a way to split test the campaign with different versions of the same ad, to see what converts better, or where.

Not a terrible method, with the right twist it could be something much more!

Are you really sure that dating offer was on Peerfly? I cannot find any offer there for dating which was advertised on TV, only one, but it has a payout of only $0.80 .... the big ones from TV like match.com, pof, eharmony etc aren't there ...

How is this quick?
you have to design an eye catching flyer
You have to pay for printing, or buy paper and ink to print it yourself
you then have to spend time delivering them, or pay someone to do it - or not do it and tell you they did
deduct all the costs and time and there is your profit
er, i'll stick to the internet - cheaper with wider reach

Hi there,

yeah. It's still available there. I have a different payout because I've asked for a bump.

Well, then define your kind of "quick" to me.

Is it quick to wait for your amazon associate payments? I don't think so.

Is it quick to wait for any other NET 30 payments? I don't think so too.

The flyer creation takes around 15 minutes. If you are a designer and love what you do, you may spent more time in it... But it's no rocket science. Just a simple flyer.

You have to pay for printing? Seriously?! It's a normal DIN A4 paper... Printing is done in under 30 minutes MAX.

I won't go into the other points from you. If you don't like that method, it's okay for me... But imho that's definitely a quick money maker compared with other ones out there. I'm here to help other people out, not more, not less! ;)

Thanks for the method. I looked into this a couple of months ago but never took any action, mostly because I didn't have the means to distribute flyers locally. Now that I realize I can just pay someone on Fiverr to distribute almost anywhere I want in the world, I'm finally going to give this a try. Do you think this could work well for a $1.60 PPL email-submit offer? I figure I'll get more leads because a simple email submit is all that's required.

I think the method itself is very easy and you also do not need to invest much. E.g. I found a guy on fiverr who prints 100 flyers and distributes them for $5. So this is all you have to invest, $5. Designing a flyer does not take too long because you can use images/text from the cpa offer itself.
Only one thing, I do not know if offline promotion really converts better than online. E.g. I tried with a free product (well, product is free but shipping has to be paid, $4.95 for a product worth $29.99), and my CR was only 0.78 %. So if people are not even willing to CLICK on a link to get or at least see a free product then why should they TYPE an url from a flyer to get a product....
