My First Churn & Burn

I've been wanting to do this for a long time. I read this thread last night and it got me motivated to act upon it.

I decided to go after something fairly easy. I have my own small business that caters to people in my city. I have around 5 or so sites already built for it. I know it's fairly easy to rank.

So I made a churn and burn for this local niche. If this works, I will move on to better things.

I don't really care how long it lasts, as I just want to get it to number 1 fast!

I made the leecher site on Simple Site.

I made 4 pages in total. The front page is around 700 words long with a fair amount of kw stuffing. The contact page is just around 100 words, and the other 2 are around 500 words each.

I then used my own social accounts (and a few friends') to send a few social signals. It took around 10 hours for it to get indexed.

I then ordered 100 pbn links from this thread. Total cost $10. All links point to the home page. I went really heavy on the money kw and a few related ones.

I then ordered some contextual links and comment spam from this thread. Total cost $7.50. It's a 2k link blast with a lot of comment spam as a second layer. All of these links also point to the home page. I used naked url, generics, and a lot of really long tails.

My next move is to order some spam from another service to the inner pages. Any suggestions?

So that's about it. I hope this works because I have some really good ideas for this if it does.

My last journey thread was a fail as I burned out on an authority site that just pissed me off in the end. I hope this one goes better.

If you have any opinions, it would be appreciated!

On the inner pages I just did another spam order from this guy.

I ordered a blast of 5k contextual. Cost with discount was $5.25.

I went ahead and got shortened links for every page of the site. I got a short link for each page from 3 different link shorteners.

I used all generic and very long tail anchors.

The 5k blast uses all of the shortened links and the naked url's.

Drip feed for all services has been set at 10 days.

It's been about 24 hours since the site was made. All 4 pages are indexed. With just a few socials the money kw is sitting at #75 already.

I guess I need to just chill with it now and wait a few weeks to see what happens??

don't spend anymore it should be enough to get to top 10 wait a few weeks and see.
 
Most SEO's now a days will follow such churn and burn methods and 99% of them will give up, because here is the truth- Churn and burn doesn't work now a days(Unless the keyword you are targeting has like 500 searches/month). There might be 1 out of 100 cases where it might still work due to some loophole in algorithm, but 99% of the time getting ranks in 1 month will not work now a days. That's just my 2 cents.

Doesn't sound like you've got too much to lose by giving this a go. Be interested to know the monthly search volume of the keyword(s) you're targeting... Good luck, will keep an eye on your thread.

To everyone that says that churn and burn does not work- I hope you're wrong. Please read the thread that inspired me. It's linked at the very beginning of my OP.

Yeah, I've spent around $22.75 or so. That's it. The site was free, and everything else was cheap. I probably won't spend anything else for a few weeks.

The monthly search for the primary kw is right around 1k.

Here's the deal though: Each new customer I get has a yearly profit value of around $300 for me. Most of my customers have been very loyal to me for more than 5 years.

You can see how this adds up. Low volume but nice $$.

Thanks again for the thoughts. If anyone has any solid advice I would love to hear it.

Oh yeah, I just checked the primary kw and it is now at #51. Sweet....
 
Churn and burn definitely works if you know how to add TWISTS to the method. Purchasing a domain and straight up blasting it with shitty links/GSA isn't gonna get you anywhere. Learn to add twists to the methods shared on the internet or stop crying about what works and what not :p Good luck OP for testing out something new, and I am very much interested to see the results :)

Well I am making this on a web 2.0 site. I'm pretty much just doing what I learned here. Basically just piggybacking off a site and spamming the crap out of it with pbn, comments, shortened links, etc.

Is that a twist?? Idk.

I do know that spamming a new domain doesn't work. Been there/done that.

Any other "twists" that you can share? Feel free to PM if you don't want to go public.

Appreciate any breadcrumbs.

I bought one more service for this: a fivver gig for social likes/shares. So that's another $5.50, bringing the total to $32.75 I believe.

Absolutely no more spending on this for at least 2 weeks. I need to wait and see what happens when all this spam hits.

The primary KW is now at 31, and the second one is at 40.

I've built quite a few sites for these kw's. I've never seen one start so high in the serps in just a few days. Pretty exciting.

I'm also starting a few other leechers on my dream niche. I'm just building the sites, and not doing any linking for them. I will wait to see what happens with this one first.

If anyone with any expertise in this has any thoughts I would love to hear from you.
 
Do the following:-

- If you have ahref account else use some other tool to collect tier 1 links. I know you already know all your tier 1 links, but don't use that list. Create list of those tier 1 links that other backlinks reporting sites consider as your backlink. Get "Do Follow" links only.

- Now build backlinks to this do follow tier 1 links.

Instead of creating more tier 1 links if you power your existing tier 1 link then that will help you better.

This type of churn and burn is no longer relevant in 2016. It's a waste of time and energy. If you see results they will be very short time and you'll end up wasting even more time and energy. Focus on big websites and more natural link building. Keep things up to date, otherwise you will give up everything and you'll be thinking why didn't you use your time and energy into building something which will last. You can do linkbuilding, but not that sort of a old-fashioned spam. SEO now is a patient game, not churn and burn. I know you wouldn't listen, I guess it is better to learn all of this experiencing the problem. I hope after you realize your mistake, you'll start doing things properly and not give up, as tons of people are giving up as they are stuck back in another year and can't realize things are constantly changing.

P.S. You shouldn't call this a "journey", rather "how I will realize I can't use old-fashioned spam tactics in 2016" :)
