This idea sounds wonder but implementation with Amazon was a huge issue for me. I took a website I had been running for almost a year and applied this method, it was slow to start but once it took off, it took off! And as soon as I started getting sales (right in time for Christmas) Amazon then decided to "review" my site, said it was a scam site with no content and if you took away the ads the site would be blank.
Naturally this is wrong as I have over 150 reviews and articles. So long story short, they took my funds and "denied my application" but would allow me to keep using the links as a service to their customers. How nice for them. I stripped all amazon stuff off my site and now I promoted them, got them sales and have absolutely nothing to show for it.
Thanks Amazon!
