Thanks, now it does detect my proxy, however it's giving 407 error since I need to somehow enter my username & password for the proxy![]()
tumblr_username:tumblr_password:ProxyIP:ProxyPort:ProxyUsername:ProxyPassword
You sir are a true genius, thanks a lot!My example was for public proxies. If you use private proxies then the correct format should be like:
on the task table. You can add it like this to the accounts from the top menu, or you can directly edit youraccounts.txt file on your main tumblr bot folder.Code:tumblr_username:tumblr_password:ProxyIP:ProxyPort:ProxyUsername:ProxyPassword
Okay this is f*cking amazing! But uhm, maybe you could add like a maximum amount of Tumblr blogs to follow? Tumblr only allows you to follow 200 per day, and to hit the maximum everyday might seem a little spammy xD.
Lol I didn't know about tumblr limits since I am not a tumblr user, I didn't check out their limits. But here is a limit suggestion for you;
Let's say you will add a new task to the task table, you chose your account and you browsed a keywords.txt file as a parameter. Just don't include too much keywords in that keywords txt file. Because the bot will use all those keywords in that txt file to search with all those keywords and follow people from those search results. 1 keyword equal to 20 users on tumblr search results or something like that if I remember right. You can already test it and calculate yourself. And note that you can use a different keywords txt file as a parameter for each your different tasks on the task table.
Thanks man, but does that mean if I want to follow (for example), 100 people in a certain niche with 'keyword 1' en just 20 with 'keyword 2', does that mean that I can fill in: 'keyword 1','keyword 1','keyword 1','keyword 1','keyword 1','keyword 2'?![]()
keyword1
keyword2
keyword3
Hello, do you know if it works for Mac too?
thanks so much man !!!
Thank you very much mr money! Let me check and see if its working as stated![]()
could you ad a feature were you mass unfollow?
Hey OP great share. Appreciate that. Do you plan to make a complete tumblr automation thing out of this? A feature to schedule posts between multiple accounts would be awesome
So I tried to reboot, redownload the file, delete/recreate the account... It always get stuck at Followed: 0
It succeed to connect through the proxy to tumblr and even say in X seconds Y user will be followed, however after the said time it starts another follow but never actually do follow the said user (so Followed stays at 0). If I try without my proxy though, there is no problem at all... Except that it's not safe at all![]()
Great share, thank you!
I'm trying it out on my VPS at the moment![]()
